George Soros is a lot of bad things. But as you noted, he was not a Nazi. I’ve read his account of his time under German occupation. I’ve read his father’s account as well. Both accounts clear him, and - importantly - they are convincing.
Furthermore, the Germans were meticulous record-keepers. If Soros really was some sort of junior Nazi, there’d be paperwork somewhere saying so. And there’d be witnesses (Hungarian citizens, etc.) who would have stepped forward.
Soros was not a 13 year old Jewish Nazi infantryman shooting at the Band of Brothers.

And some like Karl Donitz got far more than they deswerved. Chester Nimtz testified om behalf of Donitz that he did nothing wrong.
The post-war Nazi ratline was real. Many Nazis escaped that way. And Catholic officials were involved. That is an unpleasant truth. However, it is a mistake to infer that aiding Nazis was therefore official church policy. It most certainly was not.
And as you noted, American intelligence agencies also played a part. The Church had its reasons, and so did the Americans. Both groups thought its reasons were good enough.

I basically said what you wrote. I didn’t say he joined the party. He collaborated with the Nazi’s and their Hungarian stooges. To steal jewish possessions for Nazi profit. Generally after their proper owners had been sent to the camps and executed. Admiral Horthy, et al were happy to go along with Hitler so long as he looked like a winner and was willing to leave Hungary a few crumbs. 12-13 was an age where Audrey Hepburn showed it was possible for a good bright kid to know and do better. John Clem, the “Drummer Boy of Chickamauga,” was promoted to sergeant after that battle for bravery, aged 12. Conversely many kids that age participate in gang violence. Frequently to be spared prosecution by Soros bought ‘prosecutors.’ Soros, certainly always a bright kid, looks back at his collaboration without regret as some of the happiest memories of his life. He already had lousy morals thanks to his (Marxist IIRC) parents. Although, IIRC, he was aware enough they’d look bad to lie about them on his US citizenship application. He’s not just a cockroach, he’s the progenitor of a swarm of cockroaches.

Let’s all not forget- the reason he is even a subject of attention is the fact that he has a lot of our law makers and law-“enforcers” in his pocket. The very ones that are turning our country into a chaotic mess.

What’s scary is that the Nazi Party has grown powerful in America in its 21st century recrudescence known as the Democrat Party, i.e. the Party of Hate, Evil, Racism, Slavery, and the Ku Klux Klan.
If you get a chance and haven’t seen it yet watch the death squads documentary, not only were there Nazis that got away with this but in places like the Ukraine and Romania what they called local law enforcement but were criminal deranged thugs did the Nazi dirty work before the death camps and murdered men women and children in mass graves
