DeSantis should do the interview. There’s no such thing as a bad question if it’s answered properly.

It should evolve into DeSantis interviewing the hosts.

The only caveat is if they can edit the program before broadcasting. DeSantis should demand an unedited recording that his own people would make.

Nope. They are illegitimate and mere harpie gossips. As a man you don’t waste time on people like them.

Yes, DeSantis should agree to an interview to get his message to the people BUT - here are the ground rules.
1) The least despicable (if that’s possible) comrade from the View should fly to Tallahassee for the interview.
2) It should be recorded only by the governor’s staff.
3) All of the governor’s staff will participate in the interview with the sole View interviewer.
4) It should be edited only by the governor’s staff.
5) Edited tape will be sent to the View for airing.

ABC says it is a live broadcast.

Say what you want about George H.W. Bush, but years ago when the execrable Dan Rather wanted to interview him as part of the CBS 60 Minutes program Bush only agreed with the stipulation that the interview be aired live - no editing allowed. Seems reasonable, when dealing with snakes.

No, DeSantis gave them the double middle fingers, as he should. Demand an unedited recording......in your dreams.

Trump tried interviews with liberal commentators on several occasions, thinking he could handle the situation. They bit him in the ass every time.

Going into “enemy” territory for an interview is one thing. I agree with you about “There’s no such thing as a bad question if it’s answered properly”, but 4 or 5 hags yelling and talking over each other to smear you doesn’t allow for answering questions well.

Hmmm...

One might assume that “history” has no impact on your opinions...

That's kind of the point. They won't let him answer properly. They'll interrupt him, talk over him, all talk at once and drown him out.
