With Paxlovid, it is you get to day 5-7 and test negative. Then you get rebound for about 10 days. Rebound is not as severe and the cough is really all that is lingering. In fact, they think the positive tests are actually virus fragments and not infectious. They need further study to actually confirm this. But the tests used right now detect fragments as covid.
