Actor Kevin Costner, who backed Pete Buttigieg during the 2020 Democrat primary, has thrown his star power behind Rep. Liz Cheney as she faces an increasingly uphill battle in the Republican Wyoming primary.
“Real men put country over party,” Liz Cheney said in a Twitter post on Monday as she shared a photo of Kevin Costner wearing an “I’m for Liz Cheney” T-shirt.

Even with the Yellowstone star’s endorsement, the former vice president’s daughter has a long way to go if she hopes to win the Republican primary against her opponent Harriet Hageman, who holds a commanding lead of 52 percent over Cheney’s embarrassing 30 percent.

Love his movie “Mr. Brooks” with William Hurt.
His politics are stupid, but Hollywood consensus influences a lot of its actors. Apparently he was too busy having fun (acting, philandering) to think for himself politically.
Worst actor ever. Hasn’t had a good role since “The Untouchables,” and that was a looooong time ago.
Wish he would hush—such a handsome fella and he ruins fantasies goin’ and yappin’ about politics.
Maybe Kevin is kind of Kinky?
DeNiro (yeah, I know), and Connery were what made that movie, Costner detracted from it.
Another POS bites the dust.
Decent movie.
Preferred the original series and even the redid one in the 90s or so.
Lol, interesting that he backed Buttigieg and Cheney, so you may be right.
An apt description of costner.
Agreed. I read books much more than I watch TV. But there is the occasional TV show of such high quality (with regard to writing and cinematography) that it deserves to be watched. Yellowstone is one of them. Better Call Saul and Ozark are two others I like.
I always heard it as “a closed mouth gathers no feet.”
I never could stand that guy. He’s such a pussy sounding voice.
I watched a couple of installments of Yellowstone... kind of reminded me of Dallas only with more gratuitous violence inserted into the script.
“Yellowstone” is basically “Dallas” meets “Deadwood” with slightly less swearing.
“I never liked Costner.”
I agree with you. I never could quite like him and didn’t know exactly why.
Aw hell I wish I hadn’t seen this. I liked things better when I didn’t know Costner was a shitbag.
The picture of Sean Young was from Blade Runner, I thought she’s a great job in Blade Runner
he was good in No Way Out!
