I think a Trump/DeSantis ticket is wise for both men.
Trump having residency in Florida complicates things. DeSantis is governor, so he isn't moving.

Given his wealth, Trump could more easily move his residence to another start than Dick Cheney moved his to WY.
It really isn’t an issue.

"Trump having residency in Florida complicates things." Not a problem...Trump will simply change his residency to one of his other golf courses in a different state.

Not for nothing...But Trump's call will be a family matter this time.
I think he believes as I do....there is a time when you turn the reins over to the driver you think can fulfill the destiny of our country.
I believe that to be...Pompeo/DeSantis.

Thats a red herring. The electors can’t vote for both a Prez and veep from the same state, but at any point before the electors meet, Trump just needs to register in another state where he has a home. NJ, NY, probably Nevada and Cali would work. To be safe, he should maybe get a condo in a red state, but the Florida residence thing is a non issue.

I have wondered about that. Is there legal hurdle to a single state ticket?
