Prison guard is a very low paying job!
The guards are often part of the same population as the inmates.
Until recently I was part of my church’s prison ministry (5 years). When going in to the facilities at the metal detector there was always a poster that said “DON’T BE ONE OF THESE”. Below that were pictures of prison guards that had broken the law in one way or another, many got caught trafficking in contraband......but never anything like this. Sheesh. SMH
