Democrats are leading in the tight midterm race with a 4% edge over the GOP on the generic congressional ballot, as voters rank abortion as a leading issue over inflation.
A new Suffolk University/USA Today poll shook up the midterms, after 44% of voters said that if the election were held today they would vote for a Democrat candidate, while 40% said they would vote for a Republican. About 16% still remain undecided.
Republicans have taken a hit over the past month, after a June poll from the university found Democrats and Republicans were evenly split on the generic congressional ballot with both parties receiving 40% of the vote.

Let them think they have no need for a ground game and their candidates can stay in the basement. Let them think China will work the elections in their favor. Every Democrat I’ve spoken to in person - is already fed up. Not once has abortion been discussed since that first week or so. What the news says and what is reality are two entirely different things.

The same polling firm gives Biden a minus 17 rating (approve versus disapprove). I suspect a number like this comes from having a good number of urban voters sampled and they are going to give the Democrats that kind of an advantage. It probably means that the Democrat brand is that very damaged outside of urban megapolitan areas if they only have a 3 or 4 point lead.
I was thinking about that the other day. Here in Australia many regional folk have to drive a few hundred miles to see a doctor. How hard is it to drive across state lines. The left know that any disincentive may make some reconsider.

Where else would the moneymakers go if they left Fox? None of the other networks want a strong conservative show even if such a show would increase ratings. Leftist propaganda networks cannot be tolerate strong and fearless opposing points of view. No doubt the high profile Fox conservatives enjoy the money they earn. Hence they stay.
The experience of Fox News show headliners who leave the network has not been good. Where are O’Reilly, Megan Kelly, Greta, Lou Dobbs, and others who left? Even those who are hired by another network disappear from the new home in a few months. Fox knows this. Carlson, Gutfeld, Waters. Hannity also know the reality.
As the Dems increase their stranglehold over government and other institutions they will increasingly use their power to force advertisers on conservative shows to stop advertising. They were successful getting many of the advertisers on Rush Limbaugh’s show to quit. They have been successful getting the major retailers to stop carrying “My Pillow” products in an effort to destroy a major Fox advertiser.
Look at the advertisers on Fox today versus the major corporations advertising on the other networks. In a truly free market for commerce and ideas Tucker’s show would be supported by all of the A list big corporate advertisers who keep MSNBC and CNN afloat. The day is coming when Fox will not be able to sell advertising for its prime time conservative headliners. Will it carry those shows with no revenue or will it follow the money and fill the time with progressives?
The GOP is also feeling the money squeeze as pressure is put on well heeled donors. Corporate money is drying up. Billionaires are overwhelmingly backing the Dems. Any young conservative working for a woke company would be crazy to register as a Republican or give money to GOP candidates. Democrat activists study the public voter rolls and campaign finance contributions and use that information to great effect. If you work for a woke boss, she knows if you have been contributing to the enemy and will act accordingly in grants int raises and promotions.
Money is the mother’s milk of politics and capitalism. It is in Increasingly under the control of leftists and has been weaponized to destroy dissent.
It’s really depressing. At this point easily 50-60% of the population wants abortions, tranny/gay stuff all over in schools and society, and just liberalism in general.
And it gets worse every year. I don’t really expect any red wave, maybe a tiny shift at best. If the GOP ever wins more than just one chamber of congress it would be amazing. Highly doubt president or senate will ever be GOP again.

The Senate is however looking like a keep for the Democrats though since we have weak candidates in a couple of states.

This is 100 percent fake news. In states that are blue , abortions are still legal. Why would this effect a poll when inflation is clearly a more pressing issue for the vast majority of folks.
