Why would you want your political opinions to be part of a permanent data base available to vile people? Suspect many simply don’t talk to these pollsters. LOL. Whistling past the graveyard. When some working person is filling up his or her car, abortion isn't on their mind at that moment. Anyway, the headline does not say which way abortion is important to the voters. It is just as probable that abortion is important to be prevented.
It’s not an inconvenience thing it’s an irrationality thing. The white suburban women who are the only thing keeping D’s from a complete collapse are wealthy enough that inflation doesn’t affect them, so they vote on emotional issues that also don’t really affect them. They’re older and not getting pregnant as much let alone accidentally pregnant, but they view the right to murder babies as giving them parity with men. It’s insane.

Could be truth to this, and this is where we lose the independents, and libertarians. Conservatives should focus their antiabortion funds mainly on helping women decide to keep instead of going around banning. Let the libs abort themselves. With this strategy we will pick up about 4%age points in every election here on out.
