Re: "do you lean Trump for Pres. or DeSantis?"

I lean DeSantis, but I am not confident DeSantis can win a national election.

Trump was the only Republican who could win in 2016 and 2020.

Trump will be 78 years old in 2024, which, in my opinion, adds a great deal of uncertainty to his re-election.

..."stop paying President Trumps legal bills a fair amount of donations are likely to dry up"....

I did that years ago. Just send money to the guy/gal you support. Why throw money into a large slush fund to support people I've never heard of instead of targeting the people I support.

This all comes down to supporting people not policies. These "policies" always seem to float around but people I know their past I can support.

The RNC may support some gun grabber in New Jersey that believes in abortions and I live in Texas. I just send a check to my congressman or governor and he gets all of it and it's not divided up with minor candidates in other states.

"...the payments would stop because the party has a "neutrality policy" that prohibits it from taking sides in the presidential primary."

Looks like policy that already existed. Looks like the leftist media posted a misleading headline to trick gullible people into stopping donations.

“But an RNC official told ABC News that as soon as Trump would announce he is running for president, the payments would stop”

no problem: Trump just stops raising money for the RNC ... there’s no question who would lose in that deal ...

No more money to The Reagan Ranch either after their invite of the lizard.

BTW, Reagan Ranch. Anything, like calendars received in the mail, unsolicited, is mine with no obligation.

That was the Library, not the Ranch.

I’m not sure the RNC has anything to do with supporting it. It does have national files in it, so I suppose it’s a Federal line item.

I have greater confidence in DeSantis in ‘24 than DjT, but favor the Don & Ron ticket in case 78 years catches up.

Nice piece today:
