Republican leaders who worry that Donald Trump could hurt their midterm chances by announcing a presidential run too soon are hoping he'll be dissuaded from doing so by the prospect of losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal payments, according to an RNC official. But an RNC official told ABC News that as soon as Trump would announce he is running for president, the payments would stop because the party has a "neutrality policy" that prohibits it from taking sides in the presidential primary.

No more donations to the RNC. Wonder if there are work arounds. Trump made SO much money for those backstabbers!”
All of my political donations go directly to President Trump. I haven’t given a cent to these traitorous bastards in years. I suspect it’s the same for a lot of true patriots.
These losers can go pound salt.
Hey, ABC! Who are these anonymous people from the
GOP?
Thanks for the link, chiller. I read the entire essay.
It is very good.
“My question to you is: do you lean Trump for Pres. or DeSantis ?
This is the big question Rs will be facing, soon.”
I lean toward DeSantis however I don’t believe he will run against Trump. I will support Trump wholeheartedly.
I’d like to see a strong R candidate surface in FL that would continue the progress that DeSantis has made.
Then, I’d like to see a Trump/DeSantis ticket for 2024.
time to organize an official MAGA Party.
We should have been doing this ever since 2020. We know how they all are, it is time to leave the RNC in the dustbin of history.
I have no idea how to create a new Party, but we have got to get started to have some sort of footing in 2024.
President Trump will do fine, whether he announces early or not.
But he will not announce early because he knows it’s always best when rock stars tease the audience for an encore - as long as possible.
Remain off-stage and let the audience chant “More! More! More! More!.” That’s how it’s done.
The audience loves chanting it - the rock stars loves hearing it… what’s not to love?
It’s the best part of a concert - when the band has left the stage but you know they are coming back. Every few minutes, while the audience is chanting, a stage hand or sound tech will briefly appear on the side of the stage - causing the audience to think the band might be returning to the stage - and the crowd goes wild all over again.
Obviously, President Trump is running in 2024, and he will keep hinting. His hints will be more and more direct - but he has nothing to gain by officially announcing when he can milk it for another year.
How about Trump starts a third party?
