Be careful! I’d always been a bolt and lever kind of guy. I just decided I wanted one AR so I built one in 6.8 SPC as it was the best all round caliber for my hunting needs. It was so much fun to shoot that I built a .556/223 for plinking because the ammo was cheaper. Then I found a .410 upper that I really needed so I built a lower for it. And then they came out with the 350 Legend that I figured would be great for deer and hogs so I built one of those. I just ordered the last parts for a 7.62x39. I have two more bare lowers that I may build into AR format pistols of some flavor.
The only AR-15 self help groups I’ve found all seem to think that you can quit any time you want after this one last rifle.
I was being facetious about getting five.
I would like to have one.
My skills as a gun smith are non-existent.
What you are doing does sound like fun.
