This is actually a pretty traditional heat source for Germany. They apparently throw old sneakers in there, too.

During World War II, as many as a half million passenger cars were run on what is called “wood gas”, also called syngas... General Patton even had some of the 3rd Army’s vehicles run on synthetic fuel that they drained from captured or abandoned German tanks.

In the 1920s, French chemist Georges Imbert invented a coal gasifier,

IG Farben was contracted to produce synthetic gasoline. One of the plants to produce the gasoline was built at Auschwitz, but it never produced any.

Hope Putin has to breathe the smoke.

The way he is coughing now, that would probably do him in.

Alot of wood. If live trees, they take about a year to dry out for firewood. I used to go through about 7 cords a winter in north Idaho. About like Germany, only warmer.

Germany will import a lot of wood pellets from the USA.
Eastport, Maine has the facilities to load the pellets and is ready to go!

IG Farben was contracted to produce synthetic gasoline. One of the plants to produce the gasoline was built at Auschwitz, but it never produced any.

The third camp, Monowitz, was a synthetic rubber plant.

What wood. There aren’t enough trees or wood burning stoves in Germany to keep the Germans warm this winter. Maybe their windmills will do it. Ha ha

All of the boomeranging suicide sanctions need to be ended immediately.

Make deals to ensure the free flow of fuel, fertilizer, and food.

The availability of supplies will increase.

Prices will decrease.

I doubt it. First of all, there isn’t enough wood available for firewood. And secondly, who has a wood stove or fireplace in Germany? And thirdly, firewood smoke is a serious pollutant. The eco-fascists will have a meltdown over this. There are places in America where woodstoves have been banned due to the amount of pollution generated.
