SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco Labor Council is the latest group to call for Ann Hsu's resignation, following the school board member's racist questionnaire response denigrating Black and brown families.
In response to a candidate questionnaire for the San Francisco Parent Action Coalition, Hsu, who sits on the San Francisco Unified School District's board of education, wrote that "unstable family environments" and "lack of parental encouragement" posed major challenges in educating Black and brown students.

Oops, told the truth, the ultimate offense to liberals.
Truth must never be spoken!
During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.
Parents can’t teach their children what they do not know. Children can’t model behaviors that don’t exist in their lives.
Do not criticize or you are a racist
Can’t tell if this is hilarious or sad.
Hate how libs and even patronizing conservatives refer to all Hispanics as “brown.” Latin Americans come in all races and colors.
OMG! The truth has broken out!
A simple rhetorical technique is to extend the opponent’s proposition to it’s logical conclusion. In this case, if the opposite of Hsu’s arguments hold true, then so will their logical extension:
“unstable family environments” = academic success.
“lack of parental encouragement” = academic success.
Don’t worry. It won’t get far.
The truth must never be spoken.

We don’t need minorities to go to war against each other, we need to encourage them assimilate and show them where the opportunities lie. It is the best path to success in this country.
BTW, I am Hispanic and what she says is largely true. There are exceptions of course, but by and large, if the parents have no direct experience in higher education or know it’s benefits, it’s hard to pass it on to their children. This is doubly true if the parents have limited English skills. It’s not a matter of intelligence or initiative, it’s a lack of knowledge and life experiences.
My first landlord in Hollywood can easily pass as Irish. Even though they were from “white” region of Mazatlan. The kids are blond which really confused me.
Being willing to recognize problems is the first step in trying to find solutions.
Pretending that problems don’t exist just makes them become worse over time.
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
Why is this an either/or proposition?
She didn’t say anything about their IQ. Perhaps she should have.
“In response to a candidate questionnaire for the San Francisco Parent Action Coalition, Hsu, who sits on the San Francisco Unified School District’s board of education, wrote that “unstable family environments” and “lack of parental encouragement” posed major challenges in educating Black and brown students.”
Note how certain things are quoted but Black and brown are not.
What she actually wrote is not reported.
Yep and he’s toast
