mandates, DeSantis explained, noting how his administration stood up for first responders and healthcare workers,
They wanted to take some of these police officers and firefighters who had been working the whole time during COVID and then all of a sudden fire them because they didn’t get a shot,” he said, explaining that so-called experts ignored the reality of natural immunity.
“We were right to make sure that we were doing that and you know, with the school children, we saw that very early on, I mean over a year and a half ago and made sure that that parents were protected,” he said before noting that President Biden has been criticizing Florida for recommending against the coronavirus jab for children as young as 6 months.
“He’s criticizing Florida because we’re recommending against jabbing these six month old babies. You know, there’s no evidence that says that that has been effective,” he said, noting that parents are not buying it either, as seen in the data.
And the thing is, is even though they’ve been prattling about this to parents nationwide, the uptake is like two percent nationwide and you know, some of that– if you take out, you know, some of the states that have higher … the average states like one, one and a half percent. So parents are seeing this,” he said. “They understand that this was flimsy data.”
“They understood that it should not have gotten emergency use authorization. They understand the kids are very low risk — most of these kids have had COVID by now — and so they’re making those informed decisions,” he said.

DeSantis needs to be Trump’s VP in order to ensure continuity if the left somehow manages to remove Trump during his next term. Plus, that will give the US twelve years of conservative leadership.

VP is a nothing job. If Desantis isn’t the presidential nominee, he should be named Attorney General. Unfortunately, Trump might appoint a swamp RINO instead, that’s been his history I’m sorry to say. I support Desantis for prez precisely because I’m tired of Trumps lousy appointments. Also, I’m tired of all the power/influence he seems to give his son in law and daughter

Get back to us when DeSantis quits hiding from the Voting Fraud issue.
Once he actually engages on that issue, he maybe Presidential Material for 2024. Until that time, he's hiding.

Why was the Trump campaign caught napping in 2022? Do you think Trump was smart to put his son in law in charge of his re-election? While the Dems were working to prepare an election strategy, what was the Trump/Jared campaign doing to counter it?

Prove it NeverTrumper!
That the best you got?
Voter Fraud is rampant and your pick for President is silent.
Is it because he is chicken? Afraid? Doesn't want to wade into the fight?

He was quoted as stating he has utmost trust in his daughter and son in law. Knocking and blaming them makes zero sense. Personally I’m 99.9% Trump won’t run.

The proof that Trumps campaign was napping - while Biden’s wasn’t - is right in the White House. Biden is living there, because Trumps campaign was napping while Biden’s campaign wasn’t.

That's not proof of your assertion, those are circumstances.
Prove President Trump and his team were napping and not doing their jobs with facts.
Not with vague generalities.

Getting this through folks’ heads is like bashing your head with 2×4. DeSantis is being politically aware. Most folks are tired of hearing it. Those are facts. Folks have pressing issues with stagflation, inflation, making ends meet, et al. Trump is welcome to continue, but he’ll lose all but his most ardent flock.

Try to put aside your NeverTrumpism for just a minute and provide proof that President Trump was not warning everyone about potential Fraud (which he was), that President Trump was not having his team actively monitoring the election (which he was), that President Trump did not scream from the roof-tops that voter fraud was, and had occurred (which he was and did), that he did not try to address this through the courts and Congress, and his cowardly VP (which he did).
Try to present some actual proof (besides your NeverTrumper opinion) like a court would accept that your lousy, LYING assertion is correct.

If, as you a couple of other NeverTrumpers on FreeRepublic are constantly agitating for, DeSantis wants the supreme leadership position of this country, then he needs to step up and lead, like Trump does, every single day.
Otherwise, either he is completely uninterested (which I believe is the case for 2024), or, he is coward and unfit for leadership.

The proof is in the fact that Biden was inaugurated. That’s a fact. His campaign succeeded. Trumps campaign didn’t succeed. So whatever strategy brought success to Biden , Trumps campaign didn’t counter it. They were snoozing.
