Rep. Matt Gaetz, the firebrand House Republican from Florida, said as much in a July 1 exchange with Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.). Answering a Tweet from Gallego that said “Fact is if the Republicans take over the House in 2022 US support to Ukraine will come to a halt,” Gaetz replied, “Ruben is correct.”
At a recent rally in Anchorage, Alaska, Trump riffed on the cost so far, misstating the amount spent.
“Like with Ukraine, we put up $60 billion and Europe put up $5, 6 [billion]? OK?” he said, drawing boos from the crowd. (Through early July, Congress has authorized about $54 billion for assistance not only to Ukraine, but to neighboring countries as well in response to the Russian invasion. )
And Trump is by no means alone among Republicans. On the last aid package, 11 GOP senators voted against more money, including Kentucky’s Rand Paul.
“We don’t have any money for anyone,” he told HuffPost. “I mean, we’re a trillion dollars in the hole every year. So any money that is allocated to send to a foreign country has to be borrowed first from another foreign country.”

Says an outspoken pro Putin poster! Do we want to pay Ukraine to drain the Putin war machine, or some day send tens of thousands of our young men to do the job? My son is just retiring from 25 years in special units, and I don’t want to see my grandchildren having to follow in his footsteps.
republicans need to concentrate less on zelensky and more on how pelosi used fraud to get biden and senators in position
What did the phony baloney 20yr bill for Trashcanistan cost us, in blood and treasure?
The US politicians sending billions of tax payer’s dollars to Ukraine is the normal for the DC criminal cabal. It just creates another pool of money for DC looting via kickbacks from the Ukrainian government. The us people are being played and in short, this is treason against the US.
Some of them should be hanging from lamp posts for the good of mankind.
I’m sure your grandkids will be marching off to war in the Ukraine or some other cesspool, but mine won’t. I’m not dopey.
The money won’t be cut off until President Trump is back in office. That gives Ukraine about 3 fiscal years of support.
Good. Soros/Schwab/Satan/Z/GloboHomo all sad.
It’s about time Republicans realize it’s America First not Ukraine First.
Unfortunately this link from The Economist limits reading. However, it does show that G7, EU and related entities have provided $29 billion. Other sources who so far US has SPENT $43 billion although additional funds are committed. I don’t know if the Economist figures include the large amounts of money Poland and other countries have spent to support around 6 million Ukraine refugees fleeing Russian murder and slavery. Those costs are monthly and ongoing.
Committed and delivered/disbursed are very different things.

Like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football Lucy is holding.
Not to mention Iraq.
Too late. The laundering of billions back to American politicians via their families and friends continues apace.
Where are they going to get the money to pay kickbacks to the swamp?
“Republicans Begin To Sour On Aid To Ukraine”
Until they find out it upset the top Democrats then they will fold.
The many other countries supporting Ukraine are all beginning to reduce their support and with winter coming I suspect the sanctions will go away.
I wouldn’t be a bit surprised that by year’s end the US is the sole supporter of the Ukraine’s war.
Yes, I missed that part. Thx.
Slow learning Republicans start to cop a clue about the libtard money pit scam called Ukrania 🤪
