I’d be curious to hear from FR attorneys about the potential civil liability of the property owner in a scenario where a “gun-free” zone is established and someone comes in and shoots the place up anyway.

I would surmise it would depend on how the state CW law is worded and what exemptions, if any, are enumerated. The CW law may supercede local establishment rules or local/store rules may supercede the CW law.

As of July 1st, 2022, Indiana is a “Constitutional Carry” state. I do still have my lifetime CCW, but it is not needed any longer.
