No ballet?
Might as well put a padlock on the chain on the front door.
This reminds me in a strange connection way to something that
happened to my wife and I in the early 2000s.
She had a nice friend who offered her some tickets to a
music presentation that was going to be at Cal Tech.
We went mainly to show some support for her friend, not
knowing exactly what we’d see. Now I say that recalling
that even though we didn’t know exactly what we’d see, we
did expect it to be some form of music we could appreciate
even if it wasn’t our exact style.
Out came the bongos and other types of instruments, some
of which barely resembled anything I’d ever seen before.
It was music right out of deepest darkest Africa. It wasn’t
creative, entertaining, enlightening, interesting, or
something that would fall under any other category you
might think you could listen to and get something out of it.
It was noise, and I mean that in the real sense. It was
not what I would term music. The melody was bad. The
drum beats weren’t interesting... it was just noise.
My wife and I looked at each other with frozen winces on
our face. We kept it to ourselves, and graciously thanked
the woman for the nice tickets to this very interesting
show.
The reason I mention this, is if they go this route for
entertainment, there will be no ‘White culture’ music
left.
We’ll be hearing basically what my wife and I heard all
those years ago.
Cancelling out ballet classes, boy that’s right in line
with what we saw going on all those years ago.
You’re going to love it...

Your story reminded me of the creepy ape dance from the original King Kong.
