The story is probably false, but the leftist argument has a substantial basis.
Many people feel there should be no abortion-related penalties in cases of rape and incest, as long as an affidavit and known substantiating evidence is properly handled and given to law enforcement in a reasonable timeframe.
Many people feel the crime of rape should not be a long-term physical burden as well as a mental burden on the victim.
Rape is a hurtful act which society should not compound.
Well about 95% of the people here did not seem to question the story at all when it first came out.
