Just when you can get past hysterics and post something rational and thoughtful I suppose.

Go ahead and talk about it. It doesn’t negate your first point.

I’ll stand by my post history, you’ll just use ‘noob’ to deflect anything that disagrees with your point of view.

Very childish and frankly, stupid, response. Lazy too.

Wow new guy- are you one of those trolls whose strategy is: "I'm going to be SO extremely 'conservative' that I'm going to attack members of this board from the RIGHT. Hahahahahaha."?

Your attitude on this issue is left-wing, from an American perspective, and I'll say why, for the benefit of the non-trolls here.

The US Constitution gives the federal government absolutely NO power to regulate an individual's use of ANYTHING. Nor dictate what that individual can cultivate on his own property. There is no interpretation of the Constitution, the writings of the Founders, nor of anything they have said or written at any time that can be construed as support for ANY such power in the hands of the federal government. Wickard v. Filburn was a BS massive power grab for the feds, leading to the communist horror show that is the War on Drugs and it should be overturned.

Having said that, like with Roe v Wade, there is nothing preventing each of the individual states from outlawing marijuana and other drugs on their own. They can outlaw alcohol, too, while they're at it, but at least the representatives who do such a thing will be accountable to their constituents, which was the whole point of federalism in the first place.

Many here who are in favor of marijuana legalization likely haven’t tried the stuff lately, even from the legal dispensaries. This is emphatically not “your father’s pot” from the ‘60s and ‘70s.

I guess you’re for Oregon leftwing ‘legalize all drugs’ then?

I really find it comforting when supposed right wingers come out as the exact same as far leftists. It separates the wheat from the chaff.

Drugs are the major weapon being used by the Communist Party as they continue to take over our country. The commie RATS need everyone high, ignorant and happy as they continue to take our freedom away. CONGRATULATIONS POTHEADS!

They still stink up ‘conservative’ sites like this place.

The far left has a lot of support. Money, soros, and so on. They’ve been very successful at destroying the nation in the name of getting high.

It ain’t the biggest problem out there. Hell of a lot of people in prison for terrible crimes they don’t remember because they were drunk off their ass.

The “war on some drugs” hasn’t made America a safer or freer place.

Focus on the hard drugs, focus on locking up real criminals, and don’t ever call me stupid or lazy again noob.

You are intellectually lazy and dull, I’m guessing from heavy weed use.

“Warren leading the charge. Remember, lots of freepers are extremist pro-democrats in this topic.”

That’s because many Freepers aren’t cool with living in a police state, regardless of the reasoning.

If you don’t like weed, don’t use it.

You’re free to choose your own path in life.

My only response is ‘no man is an island’.

Weed use destroys, insanely. The entire country is screwed up from it now.

If you don’t agree, look around outside your sheltered druggie life.

You'd be guessing wrong, because your obsession I suppose. Being a parrot doesn't make intellectual, noob.

When someone supports something like this, it reminds me of the LBGTQ+ thing. There’s always a vested interested in them to screw kids.

The vested interest in drug supporters is to get high and use. Period.

.
There’s something sinister about Energy prices, food prices, rent skyrocketing - and the “leaders” are pushing a drug that is connected to a lack of motivation and lack of initiative.

Failing schools, rising crime, promoting sexual deviation to children - hey, but we got you better access to drugs.

Doesn’t end well.

Marijuana does not make people violent. It doesn’t act on the central nervous system like that. Alcohol does.

Delta 9 tetrahydrocannabinal , the psychoactive chemical in marijuana isn’t present in alcohol.
Think of it this way, an equation if you will.

In our sober, waking world we’re governed by intellect over emotion.

When we’re drunk that equation is flipped.

It becomes emotion over intellect.
