I'm a native of Illinois, lived not far from the Highland Park suburb.....now retired in the Sunshine State.

Worth noting in this shooting massacre is that Illinois no longer has the death penalty.....it was abolished in 2009 by then-governor Pat Quinn (Democrat).

I see an awful lot of Gay pride flags on light post going down the parade route on Main Street along with the American flag.

Is that a Liberal area?

I’m speculating the shooter wanted to target Conservatives.
I’m also speculating the shooter knew the area.
