Didn’t sound like a bolt-action from the video. I’ve seen reports that they recovered “a rifle” but didn’t hear what.

I haven’t heard bolt action. Someone put a video up on Reddit and it was 30 rounds and then another 30 rounds. That many rounds and people and only 6 dead is sketchy or a real bad shooter.
I clearly heard 16 rapidly fired shots but the mayhem prevented me from hearing more.
I noticed the spokesman didn’t say AR-15.
The number of seriously wounded however lead me to to think (and based on the sounds of gun fire) perhaps an AK variant.
7.62 is a devastating round at 50-100 yards.
