After the election Trump and DeSantis have a great meeting and lay out the plan to rid us of the democrat crooks machine once and for all.... An for good measure fire all the democrat supporters in the house and senate. Then start disbanding all these crooked agencies like Dept of Education and pass a law that no act or law can be more than 50 pages long so they can be read by all of us.

I will vote for Trump if he is the only R on the ticket, but if DeSantis runs against him I will vote for DeSantis. Trump allowed a palace coup to happen. As President, he should be able to figure out who is competent and who is on his side. When you shut down an economy, you better believe you need to be on your game. He let the palace interlopers take control. Not to mention they were Democrats. No policy experts on the panel who could measure the societal effects of the lockdown. It was Demorat Birx’s show, and she took Trump down.
My only worry about this is that Wyoming is an open primary state and Trump’s railing against Lizzy might inspire enough Democrats to cross over and vote for her that she wins.
If DeSantis runs and by some freak of nature manages to beat Trump he will turn off enough Trump voters by his disloyalty to allow the Democrat to win.
And, DeSantis is smart enough to know this.
Never met Trump, Cheney, Billary or that jug-eared closet queer Barry. But based solely upon their accomplishments and their public statements (including tweets), I have the utmost respect for Trump and complete disdain and contempt for the others.

I’ve had very few arguments since posting here. Disagreements? Yes but we keep it civil.
The “Commitee” and all their threats and propaganda is their only way of trying to distract from and influence the midterms. Trump is just spraying Raid on them.

Trump never attended a single task force meeting. The most important issue in Trump’s Presidency, and he was absent. He let Pence ( a milk toast) run the task force, which then allowed Birx to actually make the decisions. Basically, he let Birx take over his Presidency. No one was allowed access if they disagreed with the Birx plan. I remember Desantis early on pushing back against the mandates.

I agree with you. I love Trumps policy instincts, but he isn’t a good administrator. I supported ALL of the MAGA agenda that he ran on in 2016: 1) build a wall; 2) big beautiful infrastructure; 3) bring industry back from Mexico, China and other 3d worlds; 4) threaten sanctions on ceos who tried moving factories abroad; 5) tax the hedge fund billionaires (who seem to be mostly leftist); and 6) replace Obamacare with a health plan that serves everybody.
Unfortunately, Trump couldn’t deliver on any of these top MAGA promises. He hired people who opposed him, and he was unable to exert leverage against the RINOs in Congress.
I salute him for not getting us into new wars, but on domestic front he didn’t deliver
I see Desantis as an effective administrator who can get things done and who supports the MAGA agenda
If Trumps the nominee he has my vote, but Desantis is by far my first choice for the nomination

Trump must Run—This is a three act play and we are in the second act now, The third act “The Return of the King” is coming and its his duty to set things right, punish the wrong doers and clean the nation before he goes out. Its like Robin Hood, when King Richard Returns, to take out the tyrant King John and unify the Saxons and Normans into one nation. Its poetic. Now did Trump make mistakes—you bet. Did he trust the wrong people—sure thing. Will he make these mistakes again—I think not—he’s a fast learning businessman with a fair for the theatrical. When things are running well—Then DeSantis can step up—Or better yet—Trump could have him as VP so that if Trump should fall to an assassin’s bullet—DeSantis could finish the job. That way he would be set for the next election to continue the MAGA Revolution.
Problem is, Trump has showed he’s an ineffective leader/administrator to protect our liberties and get the MAGA agenda enacted. He hires too many people who are at odds with him and with us. Think Chris Wray and his “stewardship” of the FBI.
Desantis hires talented , loyal people who believe in his agenda. That’s the kind of energy we desperately need at the head of the MAGA movement, and in the White House
