Hard to feel sorry for the mercenaries, but I also suspect many were sent there by Western government’s, otherwise why kill them? If you don't kill captured invaders you have to shelter, feed and guard them, at great cost to your own defensive efforts.

Given who is pushing this unnecessary war, Biden, Soros, Clinton, all of the Democrats, all of the Globalists, etc. and all of the lies uncovered in their Propaganda, I am more inclined to believe Russia over everyone else.
To be sure, I trust Putin more than I trust the Rogue's Gallery of those pushing this unnecessary war.
As far as Good Guys, I know Zelensky is NOT the good guy, all bets are off, for me, with respect to all others.

Ukraine should have never given up her nukes. As woodpusher kindly pointed out in older threads (like here, here, and here), Ukraine giving up their nuclear weapons was the price they paid for sovereignty. Unless they (like other former Soviet republics) gave up their stockpile of nukes, neither Russia nor the United States would recognize them as independent nation-states.

Personally, if it were a Soviet Union/ Finland war, I would rejoice if the Ukrainians were actually winning, but we have been deluged with so much obvious BullSchiff, I basically don't know what to believe. The so-called "conspiracy theories" seem to be making more and more sense.
