”Real military leaders and their causes have never had any use for mercenaries...“So why are you peddling Russian propaganda then, when the Russians are using mercenaries all over the world, Ukraine included?

So why are you peddling Russian propaganda then, when the Russians are using mercenaries all over the world, Ukraine included?
Well, that one is easy.
Because of the overwhelming volume of Pro-Ukraine Propaganda that gets posted each and every day on FreeRepublic. Chock full of lies and deceit.

Russia has more than enough allies and volunteers in this fight, they do not need mercs. I am not peddling any kind of propagands, I am attempting to bring light to a scene of mass ignorance...

Aren’t the Chechens working as Russian mercs?

Hard to feel sorry for the mercenaries, but I also suspect many were sent there by Western government’s, otherwise why kill them?

The Russians have a “flamethrower” self propelled missile system that probably caused thus.
They use it for clearing trenches and buildings.

Source is the Saker. Masthead slogan: “Stop the Empires war on Russia”.
Sounds like an honest broker an an objective observer of the war.

So George Washington wasn’t a “real military leader”, and the Revolutionary War wasn’t a “real cause”, according to you, eh?
To: Turbo Pig
It is hilarious when people who have apparently never cracked open a book about war decide to opine on the topic based on some propaganda blogs they read, isn’t it?

Oh, so the Wagner group and the Kadyrovites are all on their way home then I guess. LOL!

Hi.
“Real military leaders and their causes have never had any use for mercenaries”
Ever hear of a guy named George Washington?
Ever heard of a guy named Charles DeGaul?
Putin using Chechens?
I could go on....

Dirty RuZZian This has not, nor ever will be, an argument. It's nothing but a waste of bandwidth, and quite frankly makes you look silly.

The use of mercenaries is not inherently illicit in and of itself (because not all mercs are equal); however, under modern laws relating to warfare (such as they are), they have fewer protections with regards to POW status and the like.
If the cause (or the paycheck) is enough for them to take that risk, then that’s on them if it turns out poorly.
