Lying is not exclusive to divorcing females—if men do it, it tends to be about things like denying infidelity or hiding assets. But there's a certain type of female lying recently illustrated by Amber Heard, in which an incident with a grain of truth is inflated, exaggerated and catastrophized into a ludicrous, utter lie. An accidental jostle or yelling at a disobedient child becomes an "assault" worthy of jail time, gun confiscation and a protective order. I'm disgusted at what "equal pay for equal work" practical feminism of the 60s has morphed into.
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For [people] will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.
