Republican State Sen. Darren Bailey, who was endorsed by former President Trump, is the projected winner of the Republican gubernatorial primary in Illinois. Bailey defeated two challengers. Trump campaigned for him over the weekend at a rally. He will run against incumbent Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker.

I agree fully with your point, and may Trump’s batting average only increase.
But it is also true that his endorsement of Bailey came after a major shift in polls a few weeks ago that put Bailey on top with a sizable lead. That was a direct result of the negative ads hammering Irvin as can be seen in this piece from July 10, long before the endorsement:
Irvin is a Democrat. Always was, always will be. Irvin was exposed by MAGA voters in Illinois. He was hand picked to run against PRICKster and it didn’t work. Irvin was called out as a fraud.

It’s difficult for me to judge DeSantis’ name recognition since I consume so much news. Most people don’t do what is normal for a Freeper. Although I would think DeSantis is one of best known governors in the country.

Bailey is a good man. After the shutdown he went around the state talking to restaurateurs about their legal rights and how to survive in the Illinois gulag. That said, he could win every county in the state except Cook and still lose. Democrats have run this state since at least the 1920s. I don’t see that ever changing.
Interesting and credible. Hannity is a plant. But I can see Trump trusting Hannity to hav the pulse of conservatives and so on.

Pro golfers have 1 shot, trump as all the time in the world and should have a couple of conservative advisors around him by now and at least take the freaking time to vet people for important positions. Even so ask multiple conservative advisors. Oz should have been very suspect from the beginning. Love Trump and he has done a great job on lots of others but this one is odd maybe trusts Hannity too much cut him loose
