“strong guardrails” = prison bars.
How bout: $bortion, borgtion, youget the idea.
Most can’t imagine working all hours for low pay, but Facebook has a legion of them.
The “punch a clock, do your business, go home” model is gone. They want their employees to live, eat, sleep their company.
Fetuscide...
It’s the 21st century version of the boss removing the water cooler.
Liberals are guilty of conspiracy to commit murder 60 million times over.
Manson ain't got nothing on liberal dems.
I rarely go on LinkedIn, but I was curious and just scrolled through my feed. I guess I’m lucky in that I only found one unhinged pro-abortion rant. Un-friended the gal. Once upon a time, nearly a decade ago, we were real-life friends, but her opinions on this are so evil and ugly that I instantly lost all respect for her. Also maintain an instagram account for a side business. Scrolled through that feed and un-friended about a dozen pro-abort b——es, but thankfully none of them are people I know in real life, I don’t think.
I accused Meta of “censoring and canceling” their employees but, like you said, Meta is doing exactly what every employer should do about the topics you mentioned...nip it on the bud. I just felt it was ironic that FB has “censored and cancelled” so many conservatives that they’re putting this kind of pressure on their employees. It’s the right thing to do, but YOU KNOW the employees will take it as “censoring and canceling”.
>>>>Actually, it makes complete business sense. And I’m surprised that it’s even-handed. They’re prohibiting both pro and anti-Dobbs commentary.<<<<
Agree. Best not to discuss politics or religion or any hot button controversial subjects with your coworkers. Keep the focus on work, fine to exchange brief innocuous pleasantries, yes. No need to stir up drama or enmity. Rules like this make for a more harmonious and productive workplace. Of course it used to go without saying. Now that “activism” has been raised up as the greatest virtue, I guess they have to be told.
I think you are right.
“So Meta/Facebook is censoring and canceling its own employees?”
No. Work is for working. Disruptions should be minimized.
I’m the same. It’s probably been a year since I even looked at Linked In. Probably have 500 notifications. I’m not interested in “networking.”
Wow, a company wants its internal communication systems to be used by employees for workplace matters and not to waste time on political and social discussions - shocking.
Ever notice that the majority of women espousing “my body and I want to do with it whatever I want” couldn’t get laid at a Navy base on payday even if they were selling it?
No doubt Meta is run by bastards; they just happen to be capitalist greedy bastards in woke suits who smell a change in the wind.
“As someone who had to deal with this in Silicon Valley, conservatives quickly learned if you didn’t want to be fired, you just kept quiet.
Liberals on the other hand could say just about anything.”
Those were the unstated rules at my employer before I retired—national company.
That is why the lefties are now whining that “silence is violence”.
My guess is that much of the written material represents criminal consiracy to commit violence. The company doesn;t want that hanging around, reviewed by management, and not effectively discouraged.
Good for them.
But got no one to blame but themselves however letting the inmates run the asylum in the first place..
Duh.

I don’t mind if ALL political commentary is not allowed through work channels. I think that is perfectly acceptable.
I object to just MY political commentary being singled out for censorship.
All or nothing; and in the corporate world if you are an employee, nothing makes a lot more sense. You are being paid for your labor.
