Well, not exactly. In the real alternative universe, he won in a landslide. The election was stolen from him and our votes were negated. This is a non-negotiable true fact and undeniable.
And he won BECAUSE of the strength of his personality, which allowed him to accomplish everything he did, including getting Roe v Wade overturned.
Your best bet is to thank him and go on your way.

They took our country through the long march through the institutions, not because of crazies at the state capitol.
They took it by staying in grad school and getting credentialed while our men were getting shot at in Vietnam.
They took it because they dedicate their lives to thearing down everything and stealing the children we were busy raising.
They took it by lying and deceit until they got into power and could let the mask drop.
They took it because too many who said they were on our side wanted the respect of the bad guys.
It’s not the usual type of bragging, as I see it. It’s to counteract all the political garbage thrown at him.

All absolutely correct. And they took it because real Americans let the drip drip drip of deep statism slowly take hold in EVERY institution there is. Because real Americans wanted to 'keep our cool'.

Thanks. I completely agree with you. Trump approaches politics the same way he has approached business for decades. Does he self-promote? You betcha. That's part of succeeding in business.
If hiding his light under a basket, being unknown, obscure and humble as an ascetic monk were the best way to achieve his aims he'd be doing that. For some reason those methods don't seem to work in real estate, property development, entertainment or politics. Go figure! :)
