im more worried about this country and not some corrupt slavic shit hole that launders money for mitt Romney and Joe Biden. could really give a shit less about Ukraine and im kind of sick of them stealing our aid money and selling our javelin missiles for $30k each on the dark web. meanwhile America is being invaded and bankrupted but lets antagonist ice Russia which actually has a less violent and murderous government then us.

hey code toad when was the last war the USA won? Also really doubt we would win against an island of spear checkers with the crew we have now. We do not win this war and the western communists get their wish of less wypippo. less Russians and less Americans

Soviet Communism was just a more resent term for old fashion Russian imperialism. NATO was created to haunt Russian/Soviet expansion.

I see our domestic issues and what is happening in Ukraine as being completely unrelated. Regardless of how the war Ukraine comes out, it appears that the current Ukrainian government will remain in power either way. So whatever corruption, etc., people are worried about, it isn't going to change.

The problems in our own country are completely of our own making, and completely under our own control to fix. Our southern border isn't unsecure because we've sent money to Ukraine - the border is unsecured because the Democratic Party is philosophically opposed to securing the border.

I don't think voters are quite as dumb as some of us would like to believe. One of the arguments against Ukrainian involvement is that it is Joe Biden's attempt to distract us from all the problems that are happening here. Yet, the polls don't reflect that at all. His approval numbers are still cratering, voters are still holding him responsible for the economy, for immigration, for the bizarre cultural left turns we've taken, etc.. The Red Wave looks bigger and bigger with each passing month.

In short, I think we are perfectly capable of walking and chewing gum at the same time. We can stand up to Russian aggression while also correcting the monstrously wrong course on which our country currently is headed.

Any candidate who espouses those views openly in 2024 will lose.

You’d think.

That, and Understanding Soros and crew don’t advocate issues for the sake of the issue, but for a policy response. So if Soros advocates for Ukraine; he’ll profit from Ukrainian resistance....Doesn’t mean Ukrainians advocate for Soros, or that he give a flying fig about Ukrainian sovereignty (he doesn’t believe in National sovereignty)

The enemy of your enemy is easily your enemy....especially when the are KGB/FSB

“hey code toad when was the last war the USA won? “

Military win or political win? Militarily we have won them all. Politically we have lost them all.

“Let’s see if they have the ball to attack a NATO country.”

Sure, but peer-level wars are not something we can say we have experience winning lately either.

Militarily we have won them all

You have a pretty broad definition of "winning".

Not really. We win battles. We only lose battles when politically hamstrung.

It's "imperialism" when Russian enclaves or parts of other nations want to maintain their Russian ties or even become part of Russia itself?

Let me explain to you why Russia is demonized.

Russia is returning back to their Christian pre-Bolshevik roots. They are rejecting the West's woke garbage that is going to destroy our nation, Canada, and the UK.

Russia doesn't want any part of this. They don't want to be tied to the petro-dollar and have made it clear there will be consequences if border nations align with NATO.

How would you feel if Central American and Carribean nations entered a military alliance, a Western version of NATO with Russia?

You'd be rightfully pissed.

Stop believing the lies from the media and war hawks like Dan Crenshaw.

Ok; we read this on the internets.

Why would Ukrainians, as a policy, trade self preservation for Half the fair market value. Greed would demand maximum profit.

Trump armed them in the first place...and vetted Zalinski (is Trump a globalist?).

It was Ukraine that sought to alert the State Dept....repeatedly of US corruption in Ukraine, and were rebuffed until 2016. This only started after 2014, when Russian Toadies got kicked to the curb.

Seeing that there’s a war on; the Russians might actually be doing a bit of propaganda online. And the anti Uke stuff is total BS.

Russian style politics is no worse than what we are witnessing in this country.

They have duly elected officials nationwide as well as at the federal level. The cheating in this country is no less than you might surmise in Russia or anywhere else.

Having lived in Washington for a decade and worked a block from the White House, , I can tell you the beltway is not much different than Moscow. What is sickening is those who are blind to the corruption that we witnessing daily in our government, federal institutions, and our media,

8 years of Ukrainian abuse to the citizens of the republics neighboring Russia is sickening and not something this country has any business supporting nor spending untold billions on continuing...... which is what Biden and Lynseed Graham are doing.......

Most expert writers on war understand that you can win every battle and still lose.

The folks I know who have been there say differently, so I'll just leave it at that.
