“They won’t do a damn thing.”

I think you said the same type of things before, yet, the war wages on.

You're response No. 53 is reasonae.

Russia has less than zero interest in starting a second front with a country with whom they don't really even share a border, respect when that would drag NATO into the conflict. And when the war eventually ends, the sanctions will end, so there will no be no need for fighting then either.

Russia will announce its own economic sanctions against Lithuania, take some diplomatic actions to save face, but otherwise do nothing.

One issue is that Lithuania does not share a border with the Russian “mainland” but with Belarus, independent from Russia but closely aligned with Moscow. Assuming Russia has the resources to threaten or invade Lithuania, they would need to have the cooperation of Belarus.

Kaliningrad literally means “Little Russia”

"Little Russia"? LOL ...

"Grad" is a particle that means "city". "Kalinin" is for old Bolshevik Mikhail Kalinin. BTW, "Kaliningrad" is the name of the city, formerly Königsberg, East Prussia. The land around it, the piece of East Prussia that the Russians didn't give Poland and didn't give to Lithuania, is the Kaliningrad enclave.

Claiming that a slice of German territory that the USSR took from the Germans after 1945 is some sort of sacred Russian soil named "Little Russia" is like claiming the Puerto Rico is sacred American soil because "Puerto Rico" means "little America".

Yes, the war between Ukraine and Russia does go on. However, every single prediction that the war would expand to include other countries because of support supplied to Ukraine have been proven false.

We were told that supplying battlefield intelligence to Ukraine would cause Russia to attack other nations. Didn't happen.

We were told that supplying anti-aircraft weapons to shoot down Russian planes would cause Russia to attack other nations. Didn't happen.

We were told that supplying anti-ship missiles that were sinking Russian ships would cause Russia to attack other nations. Didn't happen.

We were told that sending weapon systems and munitions across the Polish border into Ukraine would result in Russian airstrikes in Poland. Didn't happen.

Etc., Etc., Etc.,

Now, we're being told that Lithiania closing its border to banned materials will cause Russia to attack and involve NATO. But guess what? That won't happen either.

Lithuania versus Russia. Now that war would be over before it started.

Except the Russian military equipment there is from before the fall of the USSR, and Lithuania is in NATO. So its Lithuania & NATO versus Russia

Nice post number 65.

The "Little Russia" vignette is a classic sign that this was Russia-originated propaganda, which tells you what sources that particular poster uses to "educate" themselves on the war.

If we have nuclear war we will have to cancel the 2022 mid-term elections. How convenient.

My friend your viewpoint is obsolete.

You need to stop relying on MSM propaganda and do research from other sources.

Russia has been threatening its neighbors for hundreds of years.

That was in the past. Are they threatening them now?

It is the reason why NATO still exists. It is a common defense for threats just like Russia represents.

No, the original purpose of NATO was to stop the spread of Soviet communism. There is no more Soviet Union. Ever since 1991, NATO has been provoking Russia by adding new members to its corrupt organization. Russia's borders haven't changed.

These traditional organizations that Americans have long thought were benign and truly involved in good works do not exist anymore. NATO, the WHO, and the EU have been building blocks to establish the global system.

Russia is not your enemy.

Let’s see if they have the ball to attack a NATO country.

Except it’s not a blockade, it’s access through Lithuanian sovereign territory. Russia has boats and freedom of navigation.

We need to get out of the mindset that Russia has some sort of right to their neighbors. Russia is going to seek to control the border states either by soft power/coups (Belaruse), or by force. If Nato pusses out, Russia will just attempt to annex these states, lose, and go nukes.

Königsberg Is only Russian by ethnic cleansing, same as Crimea, the Donbas, etc. tells us all we need to know about Russia

“...That’s ridiculous. Everyone loses in a world war....”

Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates and George Soros have claimed that the world population needs to be killed off 95% so that there are only 500 million remaining humans on the planet.

They will be safe in their bunkers and are willing to sacrifice 7 billion people in a nuclear war, in order to attain their future utopia.

Do you know how the US won the Cold War and why the Soviet Union doesn’t exist today ?

Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates and George Soros have claimed that the world population needs to be killed off 95% so that there are only 500 million remaining humans on the planet.

This is why I can't take you guys seriously.

First of all, your math is wrong. 500 million is 5% of 10 billion, and there aren't 10 billion people in the world.

Second, I'm quite confident you've taken those comments out of context, but no matter. If they made that argument, it was because of some wacko environmental belief that the Earth can support only 500 million people in a sustainable manner. So it may be that to preserve the environment, they believe the world should aim long-term for a population of 500 million. It's still an asinine position, but I understand the argument.

However, the idea that any of them would be in favor of a mass nuclear war that would render much of the world uninhabitable is nuts. The entire point of reducing the population of 500 million is because they believe that is the number that can be sustained in the world as it currently exists. But if you're rendering most of the globe uninhabitable because of a mass global thermonuclear war, you're no longer living on a world that has the ability to support even 500 million people.

So sure, maybe they'd love to see the world's population reduced to something around 500 million. But there is no way in hell they believe that a global thermonuclear war is the way to accomplish that.

One issue is that Lithuania does not share a border with the Russian “mainland” but with Belarus, independent from Russia but closely aligned with Moscow.

This is true. If Belarus was to cooperate by giving free passage through for Russian troops then they would be culpable in the ensuing war and would not be immune from military action. Recall that they already gave free passage in February to Russian troops to invade Ukraine. Belarus might try to argue that they had no choice but that would ring rather hollow.

We need to get out of the mindset that Russia has some sort of right to their neighbors.

That would seem to be the natural position for freedom loving people everywhere, doesn't it? And yet, we seem to be infested with those who think the fascist dictatorship of Vladimir Putin has a moral right to dominate and control neighboring countries simply because "it's Russia".

It's sickening.

It is;
But none of us trust our own government or institutions. American business have turned hostile to our republic, and with the cut and run in Afghanistan....the WoT has been shown to be the farce the left claimed it to be.

But.....that doesn’t give Putin the white hat people are looking for.

Remember Van Jones: “From the bottom, up. From the top, down. From the inside, out”

This is what “From the inside out” looks like.

Q. Does anyone think American Corporate leadership has a coherent strategic vision or the competence to make it happen? Because that’s our WEF boogie man.
