Democrat John Fetterman managed to take nearly 60% of his party’s votes in the May primary.
Fetterman has a few ways he can secure the seat, which could decide party control in Congress.
Play down his stroke.
Fetterman suffered a stroke days before the primary and has been off the campaign trail recovering from pacemaker surgery.
News of Fetterman’s condition caused by atrial fibrillation didn’t appear to hurt as he took nearly 60% of the votes in the primary.
Fetterman doesn’t look like a politician, often wearing shorts and shirts revealing his arm tattoos as he towers over most people at 6'9".
But Fetterman isn’t a political outsider, having served as the mayor of Braddock Borough and as lieutenant governor.
A populist, Fetterman also holds degrees from the University of Connecticut and Harvard University.
Chen added that some issues Fetterman has focused on through his campaign might not be as high of a priority for voters.
“What’s interesting is when you get his emails, he really focuses on $15 an hour minimum wage, abolishing the filibuster and legalizing marijuana. Those aren’t really issues that most moderate Democrats are prioritizing,” Chen said.
Gun control and reproductive rights have the potential to become the most prominent issues for voters.

One of the best political pressure points Fetterman can use against Oz is his residency outside of Pennsylvania.
Apart from attending medical school in Pennsylvania, Oz didn’t live in the state until he started his Senate run in 2021.
Fetterman could bring in those Republican voters who were on the fence about Oz in the GOP primary and also independent voters.

The stroke was totally preventable. Fetterman was diagnosed with AFib 5years ago and placed on medication and told to follow up. He’s so stupid he stopped taking the medication and didn’t go back to his doctor. Stroke was inevitable without taking action.
Oz may not be totally MAGA but at least he’s no dumb.
Oz is a fake phony fraud in every way. He is an anchor baby (in other words, a child of non US citizens). That’s right, neither one of his Islamist parents were US citizens. In fact, the parents moved back to live in Turkey. They want nothing to do with the US. Oz is STILL a Turkish citizen and served in the Turkish military. He voted in Turkish elections as recently as 2018.
What the HELL was Trump thinking endorsing an anchor baby? In any other country, Oz would NOT be considered a citizen of that country, regardless if he was born there.
And now this foreigner is running for a US senate seat.
I hope it's a painful death full of misery followed by an eternity in hell. That's the optimist in me.

Maybe but anything can happen. And John Federman could have another stroke or something even worse. We could have another pandemic and it would be sure nice to have a doctor in the Senate besides just Rand Paul. Fetterman knew about his condition five years ago. He was also the the lieutenant governor while he was sick. Have to ask yourself what else is going on with this guy besides a stroke?

So is being Vice Chairman of Surgery at an Ivy League medical school.
Chucking it all to go on Oprah and engage in low-level hustles? Not so much.

I was going to add “Don’t die” but even if he did, he’d probably still win.

I am totally pushing for Mastriano. We need a solid governor if we hope to reform voting in the commonwealth.

Anyone who hopes this GOP seat is saved by a medical event is fooling themselves.
Trump effed this up with his endorsement of Oz and Hannity finished it by lying about Barnette.
I am through with both of them.
