Without question this is a deliberate provocation and casus belli.

NATO desire a full scale war with Russia.

It can be nothing but a nuke war.

This type of thing is what triggered the Germans to invade Poland in WW2.

Oh screw off with your defeatist apologist nonsense.

This is America not Russia.

Lithuania is our ally.

Did half of you major in being a turncoat coward in school?

NATO should be abolished. This is going to be a very ugly fourth turning. Buckle up.

It isn't an act of war to not let another nation transit your country by ground. Plus, Russia always has the option to get into and out of Kaliningrad by air or sea.

And Russia isn't going nuke, nor are they going to use military force against Lithuania. 100% typical Russian bluster.

The usual nonsense. With the Russian army's member currently caught in the Ukrainian meatgrinder, Putin is hardly in a position to do anything to NATO, especially since he's stripped Kaliningrad of many of it army units to fight in Ukraine.

I assign 95% of the blame for the Ukrainian war squarely on Putin. NATO, the USA, the EU, etc. did some stupid things. But it was Putin who got the tanks rolling.

Having said that, you are absolutely correct here. Lithuania’s actions can only make things worse. There is no up-side.

Wow. More nuclear threats.

Lithuania is enforcing sanctions. If your scumbag Soviet friends don’t like it then they can ship things via the Baltic. In any case Vilnius no longer takes orders from Moscow.

“Without question this is a deliberate provocation and casus belli.”

Balderdash.

If Russia can turn the gas taps down or even off to European countries on a whim without that constituting an Article 5 provocation or a causus belli for a declaration of war, EU member states can enforce sanctions against Russia without these cretinous, excessively theatrical baby like tantrums.

Russia is acting like a pathetic spoilt brat who can dish out a beating but goes crying to mommy playing the victim when someone slaps them back.

This bear needs more than a poling. It badly, BADLY, needs to be taken to the woodshed for a darned good thrashing that’s long overdue.

Anything that hurts Russia, or its apologists is good.

Russia needs to be disassembled, knocked back to the 10th century, and everyone who has ever been on its side in any dispute or opinion hung.

No better than when they were Soviets, no better than the Nazis, no better than Mao’s China; evil, our existential enemies and their partisans, shills, and apologists need to die.

“Without question this is a deliberate provocation and casus belli.”

Of course it is, the Euros are reluctant to get involved in WW3 so it was necessary to further provoke Russia into taking action against a NATO country so as to raise the stakes. I doubt all European countries will get onboard and this will eventually lead to a breakup of the European Union.

I know understanding history might be tough for some folks...but this is not any different than 1947 Berlin. That did not cause a war.

The Russians have aircraft, and Kalingrad is one BIG port. I am not sure what their problem is.

Foolishness. Why do they hate Russia so much? Why do they love war so much? Is it all just to be used as a means to escape culpability for the implosion of the Western sovereign debt bubble? Seems like it.
