Lithuania Bans Transit Of Sanctioned Russian Goods To Kaliningrad (panic buying)

Lithuania has begun a ban on the rail transit of goods subject to European Union sanctions to the Russian far-western exclave of Kaliningrad, transport authorities in the Baltic nation said on June 18.
The EU sanctions list includes coal, metals, construction materials, and advanced technology.
Anton Alikhanov, the governor of the Russian oblast, said the ban would cover around 50 percent of the items that Kaliningrad imports.

Poland has built a beautiful new border wall on its border with Belarus to keep the vermin and filth out. Every neighbor of Russia would be wise to do the same.

Imagine how you would feel if Canada closed rail and truck traffic to Alaska. I am pretty certain that you would be thumping your chest and calling for war. Lithuania is writing checks that it cannot cash. Lithuania expects other countries to defend it from Russia which is the height of stupidity.
