Musk mutineers are FIRED: SpaceX 'terminates number of employees' who wrote letter slamming CEO's 'embarrassing' tweets and demanding that management 'swiftly and explicitly separates itself from Elon's personal brand'

SpaceX has fired some of the employees behind a letter criticizing CEO Elon Musk's 'embarrassing' and 'distracting' tweets yesterday, claiming some workers were pressured into signing it.

The letter was posted to the company’s internal communications system Wednesday, hours after Musk revealed publicly that he had voted for a Republican candidate for the first time by voting for Mayra Flores in South Texas.

In the letter, the unnamed workers gave the company's directors 'one month' to 'swiftly and explicitly separate' from 'Elon's personal brand'.

They demanded that the company become more 'inclusive', and said its 'zero asshole' policy was not enforced clearly.

Or were they really that stupid?

Yes. They were raised in a bubble where right-think is a shield that protects you from any consequences, and anything a woke NPC says is "right-think" by definition so they certainly believed they could demand that middle management undermine the boss and get away with it. They found out that the real world never used to work that way, in some rare occasions still doesn't, and they aren't in college anymore.

In my experience people engaged in engineering in the space arena are people who grew up dreaming of being astronauts or something. It's their dream and getting paid to work on stuff related to it is their dream. These guys, to borrow a phrase from "The Right Stuff", screwed the pooch.

We care deeply about SpaceX’s mission to make humanity multiplanetary. But more importantly, we care about each other. The collaboration we need to make life multiplanetary is incompatible with a culture that treats employees as consumable resources.

They have watched too much Star Trek?

Had they limited their critique to channels outside the Tesla family of affiliated companies what they had to say might be OK — depends upon employment policies about doing/saying something that criticizes the companies.
That they did it on internal networks is indicative of total idiocy. These are the types who will sabotage.
Fire them immediately with no severance, no medical benefits, no reference and anything else that can be done to mark them as unemployable by any other company.
Stupid should hurt.

The note, which reportedly received more than 100 comments from staffers who generally supported those sentiments, called on leadership to address Musk's behavior.

Reading between the lines, with an employment of 2,600 and ASSUMING these were UNIQUE comments (unsubstantiated), this is a 4% response that was, at best, generally in agreement, which is, to me hardly unusual in our politically charged environment. I am betting that the 'fired' will be in the enemediad quickly, breathing fire at their 'mistreatment'!

Popcorn anyone?

What did they think would happen? Musk recently announced he was going to reduce his workforce by 10% based on economic conditions.

They helped him find at least a part of that 10%.

Dummies. You don’t bite the hand that feeds you (or signs your paychecks).

It’s the merit-oriented white people and Republicans who need to be included.

They missed.

In this case, they’re probably affirmative action fags in drag and will take it to court. Blax, fags, blak fags are a formidable adversary in a liberal courtroom.

I wish some other CEOs would take a page from Elon’s book.

Elon... a surprisingly delightful person.

Until he does something really goofy.

And so, they enforced it. This is not the New York Times. Good-bye, wokesters.

When Mr. Musk dared speak out against the leftists, the woke mob came for him. Glad to see someone with the stones to fight back.

Hmm, I interviewed for a job with SpaceX a few years ago - didn't get it. (by mutual agreement, after the interview both sides realized I wasn't quite the right fit) I wonder if they have any openings better suited to me now? Might have to put my resume in just for kicks...

Woke companies aren't apt to hire them, for the same reason the new regime executes the very revolutionaries that put them in power.

Malcontents will never be satisfied that the new boss makes all their dreams come true.

...and they have demonstrated the willingness and the ability to overthrow!
