Katie will be all right. She has my vote. She’s young and can serve for many years, Lord willing. I hope she doesn’t forget where she came from. She needs to always take the time to return to her roots and her people. And seek God.

“Why “which gives Mo Brooks some hope”? Trump dumped him. Britt is rightfully now leading and should win. Trump’s something like 130-9 on his picks and endorsements. That is a sea change among Republicans and a chance to clean house.”

“A reliable vote for the establishment. Donald Trump once again disappoints with his endorsements.”

Katie has never held an elected office...
Katie is Shelby's gopher and hand-picked by him to succeed him...(BTW...Shelby has been noticeibly abscent in condemming open borders, election thieft & c19 protocols among many others)...
Katie is McConnell's choice & that is enough to discredit her.

“…they cheated, and we tried to take it all the way to SCOTUS and they refused to hear the case. So we can’t undo it at this point. All we can do is move on and keep it from happening again.”?
IMHO” …whatever

Ok let’s try this again.

It is a stupid wimpy GOP wimp thing to say

He said it at a Trump rally. To the general audience. From the stage. The Trump rally was put together for Brooks. It was a rally by trump for brooks

Trump stuck with him despite that. Now Brooks is tanking. After he tanked by a very wide margin, Trump endorsed Britt

Britt should easily win. It’s a shame because Mo is a big time proven supporter of conservative issues and values and would have made a great Senator and fighter.

Other than associations Katie Britt is almost an unknown. Maybe she won’t be that bad. We’ll see.

We are lucky down here. Even our weaker conservative candidate is probably better than many other states’ Senators.

Can you not see the dirty money behind her????? She is bought and paid for by people hostile to our cause. I know her husband’s family well and I won’t be voting for her. That she is young is another strong argument against her! Hard to unseat a Senator. I have detested Richard Shelby ever since he became our senator. All he ever did was chase money. Didn’t hear a peep out of him about voter fraud. I’m sorry, Britt has hitched he wagon to the wrong horses. I urge you to reconsider.

I saw Mo Brooks on an interview about 10 days ago and he was defending his vote for the $40 billion to Ukraine.

He made it seem like none of the money was going to Ukraine. Instead the $40 billion was only going to replenish the arms given to Ukraine already.

I don’t think that is how the $40 billion is being spent.

Richard Shelby was not a man of the people.

Mo Brooks might have the worst political instincts in Alabama along anyone who isn’t named “Roy Moore.”

If he really wants to put some energy into his campaign, all he needs to do the is ride a horse onto a stage and wave a gun to the cheering crowd. /sarcasm off/

“A rally FOR Brooks and said forget about fixing the stolen 2020 election.”

Now I understand why he tanked. Foot in mouth disease sure is contagious.

Brooks represents Huntsville, AL. That's the city with the highest engineer-to-worker ratio in the nation. In other words, smart people who make a living picking battles and coming up with solutions most people can't. That kind of analytical thinking is way more productive than just whining forever about a cheat that can't be undone.

There came a point after SCOTUS refused to hear the challenge to the 2020 cheat that, from then on, trying to undo the cheat is just pointless whining and nonproductive. A trait that's not very attractive to Brooks' district. Keep in mind that Huntsville is crazy supportive of Trump -- perhaps the most educated district that voted for Trump. (And "educated" in this discussion means real education, not the worthless degrees.) I'm telling you that pointless whining sounds like loserville to a bunch of folks used to whiteboard sessions of coming up with solutions that can be implemented.

If that is who the Voters of Alabama want. More power to them! What they are getting is Richard Shelby in a skirt. But the voters of Alabama loved Richard Shelby. So she will be right down their alley. Besides posters already posted that she will convert to MAGA once she is in Office. It will be a WIN WIN situation. We will see who converts whom.

"And Trump Could have really done without Brooks abandoning him."

Reminder:

Rand Paul turned-tail on January 6th, and instead of voting to reject Biden's electors as he publicly said he would, he chose to vote to accept them. Marsha Blackburn did the same thing. It really irked me that Paul did that. It seems he forgot all about him and his wife being accosted by protestors on the streets of Washington, D.C., on their way home from the Republican Convention. He bitched about it enough after it happened, then bitched because no one was going to be arrested for it. I don't like traitors, and I don't like chicken-shits.

Blah, blah, blah. Hold your nose, and vote for the lesser of two evils. But when it’s all over, you’re still stuck with evil. Republicans love compromising their values.

Huntsville is a hub of defense contractors…. I have been told Mo is quite able in bringing home the bacon for said defense contractors..

"All we can do is move on and keep it from happening again."

And you're naive if you think that if the Republicans do get control of Congress again, that they will actually do anything about it. They had the opportunity, over a 20 year period, after Gore tried to steal the election from Bush in 2000, during the times they had both Houses and The White House, and they did nothing on election reform.

Hahah

You forget the /s tag.

It’s disturbing how the reddest states have the worst senators (from my point of view at least).
