MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough on Thursday touted the House Select Committee’s primetime hearings over the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Scarborough agreed with The Atlantic’s Caitlin Flanigan, who said she was as “riveted” by the hearings as her parents were with the Watergate hearings. The MSNBC host added he didn’t think the American people would care about the hearings but noted that the “numbers have been staggering.”

From what I’ve heard, Americans stayed away from these hearings in droves. A rerun of ‘Young Sheldon’ got many more viewers.
Now, if they really wanted viewers, they could mount a TV investigation of the Biden family. Broadcast what’s on Hunter’s laptop. Trace money payments going into and out of ‘the Big Guy’s’ bank accounts and show the interesting relationship between the Biden family and shady Ukrainian characters. Something like that would be ‘riveting’.
Every time anything is posted about Morning Joek I get pissed and want to throw my phone out the window. Please don’t do it again.
Joe was about 10 or 11 years old during Watergate. Somehow I don’t think he cared when it happened.

Maybe they should bring in Andrew Lloyd Webber to make the next evening hearing a musical. Just be careful and don't make it too much like Les Miserables where the downtrodden rioted against government oppression and were gunned down for it. Too much like reality of January 6 and too far from the Democrats narrative.

The hearings that will be compelling are the ones on the Jan. 6th “select” committee members and their deliberate obstruction of justice by hiding and intentionally altering the truth.
If Trump wanted an insurrection, we would still be there !
Guess watching watergate hearings is off my bucket list.
