Yeah, Joe tried to figure out a way to import Venezuelan oil in violation of sanctions, he’s currently urging American companies to import Russian fertilizer. It was well known that Khashoggi was an Al Qaeda acolyte. He was the first journalist to get an audience with Osama Bin Laden after he fled Saudi Arabia (where he was under house arrest); he arrived in Pakistan, and then moved to the Sudan where the interview was held. In Europe its media greatly distrusted him. Nevertheless, his support in the United States came from the left wing, the same people who today are advising Biden and really want nothing to do with a Saudi rapprochement.
I think the Russians held a public contest on renaming the street on which the US embassy in Moscow sits and “Heroes of the Donbas Blvd” won.
In related news the embassy was formally renamed the “Lunden Alexis Roberts” Building.
It’s architectural features include an elevated walk way into the building with a solid brass pole going from the top of the building to the basement level.
An art exhibit with mattresses, crack pipes and artistic rendering and impressionist paintings of a naked old man sitting on a rocking chair sniffing the hair of a young girl, while what appears to be a younger male relative in a romantic embrace at his feet with a woman while another male lays naked on the ground....... with a Bronze Star on his chest.
