Yeah, he should have sent the letter to putin who is responsible for all this. Including the heartbreak of psoriasis.

Sounds like Joe is getting a bit hysterical. Trying to butter up to the Saudis didn’t work?

They will BURY him in their own paperwork and BS procedures. The difference? Big Oil hires REAL attorneys, not political hacks and flacks from their good-ole-buddy’s alma mater, Harvard, et al.....

This is how Venezuela went from a strong economy to people digging in garbage dumpsters looking for food.

While your at it Joe, why not tell the E.V. companies to start producing more of them at a very low cost. You know, so the “average” American could afford one.

What a fckn retard.

Every day...they add to their dictates.

Without listing every one, this group doing the dictates...are using commie ways. Any of you think this is normal..its not!

They are arresting people they disagree with.
You can’t do that!

They are not legitimate.. they have no right to even sit in the office.. abusing the fact no one has stopped them.

I could rant for another hour..

Well, not officially. Congress effectively has been at war against the average American citizen “who plays by the rules”, pays their taxes, pays off their student loans, saves for a retirement, and wants to live their lives in peace and harmony for quite a long time.

Magic wands. That is the only solution.

The oil companies need to use their magic wands to increase the supply of oil, and to move the refined products wherever without the use of a pipeline.

Solved!

No, I don’t. But that doesn’t mean that his Lesbian Affirmative-Action Press Secretary won’t stand up before the WH press sycophants who are lip-locked to her hind end and eat every bit of it up and say, “Can we please have some more, Sir?”

RE: Joe Biden Threatens to Use Emergency War Powers in Letter to Oil Companies

One step away from nationalizing the oil industry. Good on Dimjo, that worked out so well for Venezuela.
Maybe he will be able to pull off a Venezuelan like economic boom here.

For the more dense here, that is sarcasm.

Venezuela took over private companies facilities without compensating them. They they installed political cronies to run the refineries and shipping facilities. NO maintenance was done and eventually, process volume dropped off big time.

“Trying to butter up to the Saudis didn’t work?”

After he insulted them, and then pushes the rainbow flag in foreign countries? Saudis are loving the price/bbl right now .. Xiden’s puppeteers just don’t get it. They thought in a globally connected economy they could just sanction and boycott anyone and everyone who they don’t like without any consequences.

emergency war powers to increase gas production

“at a time of war, refinery profit margins well above normal being passed directly onto American families are not acceptable.

So, is the problem -- rising prices -- a lack of production or is it corporate profits?

Isn't that called word salad -- a bunch of words that don't even make sense.

That seems to be all this administration has -- finger pointing at Putin, Trump, corporate greed, climate change, a stupid public who don't know how good they have it, since this is the greatest economy since WW2.

"Biden warns oil companies in his letter that “at a time of war, refinery profit margins well above normal being passed directly onto American families are not acceptable.”"

What declared war are we in? I missed that.

War powers are for wartime. Is he admitting that the deep state is at war with the American citizens?

Pricing has to be forward looking. Suppose one has 100 widgets in inventory acquired at $1/each and that, when prices are stable, can be sold at a profit at $1.50. Now suppose that 10% inflation arises. If I sell my $1 inventory at $1.50 in the face of the inflation I cannot fully replace my inventory because I can’t charge $1.50 when the cost of widgets has climbed to $1.10. So, I have to sell at $1.60. When compared to the cost of existing inventory it appears to low information people (Biden voters) that I am making an excessive profit. The truth is, however, that I am having to spend the extra $.10 to replace inventory. This process continues as long as inflation increases. If I don’t raise my prices for widgets, I am liquidating my company.
