I remember hearing in March 2020 that things were gonna be shut down for a week or two and being totally freaked out. I’m not a financial/economy genius, but I can figure out the basics...that not working and spending $s you don’t have is not going to work out well. It doesn’t work well on the individual scale and it doesn’t work well for countries.

Here in rural Missouri, the lockdown was for two weeks but St Louis locked down for months and St Louis county had a mask mandate for over a year. Killed a lot of businesses and screwed up kids.
