Maybe he should find an actual conservative college and apply?? The liberal dipwads will not take him as a student
Very misleading headline, if you scroll down far enough the money quote is “”Kyle Rittenhouse has applied but not yet enrolled for any classes,” the official said.”.
Seeing as it’s June, most students are not currently enrolled in classes.
Wonder why he claimed TAMU had accepted him.
Sure would like to see him at Hillsdale.
We don’t know how Sandmann did. A settlement doesn’t necessarily mean a lot of money.
Blinn is a prep school of sorts for TAMU and students who don’t make the cut.
Being in the requisite top 10% of high school becomes hard in some school districts with large asian and Indian populations.
Lots of legacy Aggies send their kids to Blinn first year then to the Corps as sophomore Fish to finish fifth year. Getting Sr. boots and Sabre is more important than that.
Our son did the full press including Ross Volunteers, carried academic braid all four years and graduated mechanical engineering, pre-med, German minor and cum laude. Proud? Heck yeah. Accomplishing that is tough, even tougher in the Corps.
Whoop!
No, look at the stats, most people that choose that route never finish their college degrees. Bad move, sells kids short, and most end up as college drop outs.
I'm surprised he publicly announced Texas A&M when it wasn't done deal. Makes him look foolish, plus he did not need to advertise where he was going.
He PLANS on going to A&M. This is just liberal news making him sound like a liar. 2 years somewhere else and then go to A&M just like thousands of people. He was talking about future plans...the media knows it but they want to denigrate him any ways they can.
“Is Blinn College any good?”
Did you read the article?
“Does anyone know why Texas A&M didn’t accept him?”
Maybe he never applied. Not easy to get into Texas A&M.
“Most people who go to Blinn couldn’t get into A&M and are hoping they can get their gpa up enough to be admitted.”
When I got out of the Navy I didn’t have the grades to get into UF in a reasonable timeframe.
One term at CC to get my AA and automatic admission to UF the next term
The clue here in Texas is when the parents say, “Yeah, she’s going to College Station” and not “She got accepted to A&M”…
Why doesn’t Hillsdale offer him a scholarship?
Its 2022- college is the most overrated packaged BS out there. Overpriced, left wing, woke indoctrination. If he wants the college experience go for it- otherwise he’s better off getting his degree virtually.
Isn’t Prairie View right down the road from College Station??
Blinn College, located in Brenham, about an hour outside of Houston, is a nice community that is safe and “country”. He should fit in well.
As for A&M, it used to be conservative but it is becoming as woke as most other large universities. Ugly cheerleaders, too.
Blinn is a junior college and many of its students transfer to Texas A&M after two years.
UT?
Head shake.
Like most junior colleges, Blinn has open enrollment. There is no “acceptance” necessary.
