IS Ukraine LOSING the war in Donbas? Defenders fall back to avoid capture as Russians advance after blasting towns to wastelands while Boris Johnson offers fresh support to Ukrainian president Zelensky Withdrawal from the Luhansk region likely, admits Ukraine in new war blow
Area is hugely significant and one of main aims of Putin and Russia's invasion President Zelensky said Ukraine was protecting Luhansk as best it could Putin had launched invasion under the aims of capturing Luhansk and Donetsk Boris Johnson offered renewed support for Ukraine in a phone call with Zelensky
Ukraine has admitted it may have to retreat from its last post in the Luhansk region as Russian forces continue their relentless march.
Putin's forces - now into their fourth month of the invasion - have concentrated on the east of the country in recent weeks.
Ukrainian soldiers leaving Luhansk will be a blow to the country, due to its symbolic significance in the war.
This morning Boris Johnson offered fresh support to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Zelensky said they spoke on the phone about 'strengthening defence support for Ukraine, intensifying work on security guarantees and supplying fuel'.
He added: 'We must work together to prevent a food crisis and unblock Ukrainian ports.'
Putin wants both Luhansk and Donetsk regions in full and their capture was one of his earliest objectives in the deranged despot's so-called 'special military operation'.

The rainbow flag is indeed at “half mast” today.
Hey pal - NSA in my time never did any such thing as propaganda. We risked out lives to keep your fathers alive, so you could be born.
Truth hurts, so you lash out with smears of good people.
—
Yep you supporters of genocide are very good people like your FSB handlers and the Orc troops you so much admire. Smeared with facts, but of course not ones you’d ever believe living in your mommy’s basement.
It’s not really so much about poverty as it is demographics and a dwindling population.
Russia has one of the lowest birthrates in the world. The population of ethnic Russians among Russia as a country is even worse. Chechyans breed like flies, as do the various Eastern, Northern and Siberian peoples, but ethnic Russians will be replaced by other peoples by 2100.
I just don’t care. It had no impact on our way of life until the globalists made it so. F them and f the Ukie fanboys.
—
No, of course not, no impact at all on you - just no Neon to make computer chips, no grain and sunflower oil to feed people, no fertilizer for US farmers. No to mention disastrous diesel and gasoline prices.
Heck, no sweat off yours, if millions starve, while Russians abduct 180,000 children and are in official violation of Article 2 & 3 of the Convention on Genocide. Nope, not your problem. And one has to imagine you either have hosts of problems or just escaped from a fantasy or a Meta game universe
Current reporting is that Ukranian counter attacks recovered the territory and control of the strategic road.
Further, a very large Russian Ammo dump was destroyed that surely had some effect on the ability of the Russians to progress
Russia is steadily destroying its ability to even defend its own borders. It turns out that their high tech military equipment depends on parts from US and European vendors. Their tanks use French thermal sights. They use US made integrated circuits for their military electronics.
Here is an article with pictures of PC boards from Russian helicopters, missiles, and other arms full of US made integrated circuits.
As sanctions tighten the Russians won't even be able to repair their helicopters, airplanes and missiles.
Yes, the Russians are now displaying so much more restraint in the Donbas!

Regards,
There is a tendency for media and people to take a short view, to see recent results mean surely the whole war will be won lost.
But it often isn’t so.
Ukraine is facing a terrible situation for the next month or so. Their forces east of Bakhmut are in a fairly terrible situation, especially Severodonetsk. Some analyst think they should have withdrawn west earlier.
The thing is that this situation for one month, and for forces East of the river near Bakhmut, might not hold for the rest of the war.
How effective will the coming western weapons be?
How will Ukraine (and Russia’s) will to fight be in a month?
People pretend to know but they don’t
That's fine, most conservatives don't want to have US troops fighting anywhere. But repeating Russian propaganda is not an appropriate way to argue for a US political decision.
Plenty of people were opposed to the US mission in Iraq, but they didn't sit around posting ISIS and Al Qaeda propaganda.
How many fools here bought the Biden regime narrative that Ukraine was winning. They have a lot of explaining to do.
Why don't you put a more accurate description - the military situation in Ukraine as seen by a Russian asset repeating Russian propaganda talking points.
Didn't you mean the destruction of Luhansk?
Shelling towns into rubble and driving out their inhabitants doesn't seem like "liberation" to me. Maybe that word translates differently in Moscow.
.
Globalism puts America last. It's run by those at the WEC, including George Soroes.
This war has, from the start, been about globalism/neoconism vs. nationalism. Anyone not seeing that is either lying or has his or her head in their ass.
This whole was one of our making going back to the Maidan revolution. The goal of Victoria Nuland and Anthony Blinken was to use Ukraine to harm Russia. They and their puppet masters wanted to cause a regime change in Russia and turn it into the same kind of moneymaking operation for our political elite Ukraine has become.
Good riddance to the globalism and the new world order.
My father was in Counter-Intelligence before you were, pal.
Perhaps, I should have put a comma between NSA and propagandist.
“Shelling towns into rubble and driving out their inhabitants doesn’t seem like “liberation” to me.”
The condition of the towns/cities is up to the Ukrainians. If they choose to fight, rather than retreat, then yes, shelling is necessary to make it safe for liberation.
Not believe a ridiculous scenario dreamed up in some Russian propaganda office.
