Herschel Walker’s nonsense solution to mass shootings is having the government look ‘at men looking at women looking at social media’

Herschel Walker, former NFL player and Republican nominee for Senate in Georgia, is going viral for his nonsensical solution to mass shootings.

In an interview with Fox News during coverage of the shooting in Uvalde, Texas where 19 children and two adults were shot dead, Walker proposed a “department that can look at young men that's looking at women that's looking at social media.” It is unclear what Walker meant by the statement.

Walker was most likely referring to a conversation the shooter had with a woman on Instagram where he flaunted his guns and claimed he “had a secret” to tell her the morning of the shooting. In an Instagram story the night of the shooting, the woman said she did not know the shooter and said she lives in a different state

“What about doing that, looking into things like that?” Walker continued. “We can stop that that way. But yet, they just want to continue to talk about taking away your constitutional rights.”

Walker is dumb as a bucket of rocks. If the GOP want this senate seat then they need to help Herschel and get him prepared to answer simple questions in interviews and a likely debate. He needs help.

Walker's in the big leagues now and showing no indication he's ready for it.

Yup. That's what we need is more RINO lawyers who are "ready for it".

Have you looked at Rafael Warnock’s terrible record?
I'd take Walker over Warnock a Billion times out of Billion.
Why don't you go troll at DU?

They have had several months and whatever work they've done with him doesn't seem to be taking. Keep him in a bubble, turn down debates, and hope for the best seems to be the best strategy going forward. He might still eek out a win.

I cringe every time I hear this guy speak.

I've heard him speak lots of times.
He sounds great to me.
I don't need the far left Daily Dot to tell me what to think.
Are you trolls sure you are at the right site?

Walker needs the basement strategy as much as Biden did. Put his trophies in the back of a pick up truck, drive it around with a “vote for walker” flag, and keep him away from Media.

You want dumb, go take a look at our Hank ‘Guam will tip over’ Johnson (GA-04). Or you can have that Preacher Pimp that sits in that seat right now - Warnock. He’s a slick talker. Sounds real nice.....totally worthless.

I’ll take Herschel any day of the week over either of them. In fact, I did. I voted for him and will again in November.

I’m a Georgia voter and definitely agree that Herschel is not ready for prime-time. I know why he won the primary, but damn, there were so many better options. His ads have also been terrible. But, in a red-wave election cycle, he can definitely win, but he’ll need to employ the Biden basement campaign strategy. Hide him away, don’t let the dude answer any unscripted questions, do not debate Warnock!

[We’re already being monitored, videoed, watched, recorded etc..Millions of us. ]

I’d be surprised if the white noise of social media were being stored by the alphabet agencies, let alone actively monitored. It’s one thing for Facebook, with its $100b annual revenue stream to spend large sums on archival storage and active moderation, and quite another for the government agencies to do so.

At best, the alphabet agencies will ask Facebook to dredge up its archived data in the aftermath of an incident so they can figure how it came to fruition. Unlike Facebook, they simply do not have the budget to do it themselves.

One of the little-known aspects of Communist states is the amount of cash they saved, after liberalization, on full-time agent handlers whose express function was to keep tabs on the citizenry through a complicated network of snitches. Firing the vast majority of these people saved a ton of money.

I see this guy as one of Trump's worst endorsements

He won by an overwhelmingly margin.
The primary voters agree with President Trump.

No worries - it’s not like US Senators are chosen by a canvass of actual ballots cast, any more.

Is that why Walker won with over 68% of the vote in a record turn out primaries?
You need to troll elsewhere.
