Just posting what the entire msm was reporting up until recently. For a long time they said there was a neo-nazi problem in Ukraine. Now they say they’re freedom fighters.

You do know they’re not mutually exclusive, right?
Maybe 20,000 neo nazis in Donbass were lifelong residents.
Maybe 5000 of them went paramilitary.
Maybe 2000 if them actively went out of their way to kill Russians.
Best estimates (from the DPR itself, not the MSM) reckon on maybe 150 civilians killed in 2019. The UN figures are lower.
For 2020 and 2021 the UN counted less than 26. In each entire year.
I don’t know about you but if I was told a country really had tens of thousands of active Russian hating mass killers rampaging round Donbass committing a genocide I’d expect to hear about more than 25 body bags (and, I’d expect them to actually be Russians killed in direct fighting. Actually about half of them weren’t killed that way at all. Some were Ukes killed by landmine accidents.)
Ask the DPR how many Russians were killed in 2020 and 2021. If there’s a genocide they should have a bit more than 2 dozen dead Russian civilians, definitely murdered in cold blood.
Oddly, they won’t even publish an estimate.
A cynic might think the UN stats and the DPR stats both pointed to the genocide ending in 2019 and for some reason I can’t put my finger on, Putin and Lavrov lied incessantly to make it out to be an ongoing genocide.
Now, why would they do that?
