You’re not…oh what’s the word…oh yes. Smart.

You’re not smart. You’re actively cheerleading for a communist thug who murders political opponents, aided and abetted the killing of American troops, supported domestic terrorist groups here and abroad, all because of some fantasy that the Ukraine is the new home of the Third Reich.

It’s not rational. I’m fact its just plain nuts. And even if there are tens of thousands of Nazis in Ukraine, which there aren’t, that’s no justification for a wholesale invasion of a sovereign nation that has destroyed hundreds of billions in infrastructure and created a couple million refugees which are over running the borders of NATO allies.

You’re being played and you’re not smart enough to realize it. Further you’re way to emotionally invested to have a single coherent thought on it anymore.

There are no good guys here. Not Russia, not Ukraine, and most certainly not the American government.

So go ahead and root for Putin. Swallow his propaganda all you want. Have a big swill of vodka to wash it all down.

“I’m sorry, but if there is one thing on the planet that Russia has no shortage of, it is real estate. I don’t think that should be their highest priority right now.”

LOL, but most is crap. The Black Sea, on the other hand...

Apparently so.

Zelensky is apparently at fault for continuing a war that he didn’t start - a foreign country invaded his country to conquer it - Zelensky is at fault. Putin / Russia are not.

These people are truly insane.

“...Any war could be “avoided” if everyone just surrendered to every barbarian and bully who came looking to conquer, loot and pillage. But then we’d live in a world of no law but the law of naked force...”

You stated it well. If Ukraine had not resisted, the pro-Putin - Cossack-hating Freeper contingents would all be calling Ukrainians “surrender monkeys”.

The Ukraine is indeed both smaller than and weaker than the Russian Empire.

That said, in 2022 the Ukraine had 200,000 man active military which was equipped with similar, and in many instances identical, armaments as the Russians. Russian forces engaged are also right around 200,000 (or were)

Furthermore, the Ukrainian armed forces had been as war since 2014 with the two Russian puppet states which “broke away” after an elected government in Kiev was overthrown by a the “Euro-Maiden” coup.

Most of the Ukrainian army has been fighting from within an unbroken line of fortifications which have been enhanced and strengthened over the last eight years, and where it fought without the benefit of said defensive line, it nevertheless defeated the Russian forces in spectacular fashion.

Bottom line: Unless and until Russia brings the full force of its empire to bear, the war is being fought on esssentially equal terms.

“Isn’t Donbas supposed to be pro-Russia?”

The article says the Russians are attempting to encircle Ukrainian forces (military) which would be the end to fighting in eastern Ukraine.

The war in Donbas has been going on for eight years, Russian separatists against Ukrainians.

It's the Ukrainian government has been bombarding Donbas for the last eight years.

“Yes, everyone does like some beachfront property.”

Yep, Global Warming or not. Also, people like productive farmland along with underground resources, spoils that Russia will now get due to the Neocons not letting Zelensky negotiate an early peace agreement.

I cheer for America, Jack Roberts, something you globalists and Neocons forgot how to do. If you can't see thru the scam Biden and Zelenskyy are perpetrating against the US taxpayers, you might as well live in Penzance with your fellow pretend pirates. Every sick, twisted form of Western democracy you hop up and down for is being beaten into the soil of the Donbas, and that's a good thing. Now run along and pretend you're relevant to the Biden Republicans. You're a CLOWN here.

“I cheer for America…”

Russia is not America.

A little geographic info for ya.

Actually, the British are keeping some that were on loan to them. Kind of petty, ehh?

You're obviously striking a nerve with the pro-Zelenskyy faction on FR. We're perilously close from giving materiel support to active participation, or creating another "client state" of the US.

It's a great diversion from the inattention to our Southern border.

“Bottom line: Unless and until Russia brings the full force of its empire to bear, the war is being fought on esssentially equal terms.”

I respectfully disagree.

Ukraine has nowhere near the armor and artillery that Russia has employed. Ukraine’s Air Force is and was a fraction of Russia’s. Russia has a navy; Ukraine has none to speak of. And what the West is sending Ukraine is still a fraction of what Russia has on hand.

Before the Russian invasion of February 24, 2022 the military breakdown between the two countries was as follows:

https://www.rferl.org/a/russia-ukraine-armies-compare/25287910.html

Even at 50% Russia greatly outnumbers and outguns Ukraine.

So if the Mexican government “recognized” the southern third of Texas it would be legal for them to bomb San Antonio?

LOL, Biden and the Democrats would authorize aid to Mexico City, too.

Aren't you at all concerned at the incompetence on display at the highest reaches of the federal government and the Pentagon?

Biden and Congress has aggravated the situation in the Ukraine, including their bombastic talk. Their attention has been distracted from the looming conflict over Taiwan.
