Washington usually does the wrong thing for the wrong reasons and makes every situation worse. It’s always more about wanting to give the appearance of doing something while not really doing much of anything to correct a problem they themselves caused.
Guns are inanimate objects and as such must have an operator to function. The problem is not the gun, it’s the operator. Nut jobs like this guy in Texas don’t just suddenly appear, they are known by various people and organizations to be nut jobs. The usual aftermath of these situations is for the people/organizations who knew about this individual but did nothing to go into self-protection mode. If all the blame can be laid on the inanimate object then no one gets fired, sued, or have their funding cut.
Yes, we need to providd the same armed security we have at all levels of government not a stuoid gun free school zone sighn. I believe the schools have been setup without security so the denonrats have an excusd for gun control. Arm the reachers.

Removed God from schools
Removed fathers from families, replacing them with welfare
Teaching gender studies, over actual social studies and real history
Teaching CRT, over self responsibility
Push prescription drugs, to medicate, rather than deal with mental issues
Don’t you DARE exploit this tragedy and ignore YOUR OWN policies, that have caused/allowed these KNOWN wolfs to become bad actors, in an attempt to disarm the law abiding public.
