Nobody is getting convicted here. But at least Durham gets to air his findings publicly.
What abt Viva Frei or Robert Barnes?

Well that’s the problem here, isn’t it? It would be a crime for Trump to collude with a foreign government to cheat in an election, but it’s not a crime for Hitlery to falsely accuse Trump of doing that. It should be.
This trial is about convicting a guy who lied for Hillary in the process, and about convicting anyone else who might lie for Hillary under oath.
Comparing 2016 to 2020, the funny part is where Hillary never alleged how the cheating was done, how the Trump votes were supplied, or how the Hillary votes were removed. Not only was there no evidence, there were no allegations .....just a bunch of wailing and gnashing of teeth from Hillary’s media accomplices.

It’s Day 6 at the Sussmann trial. We’re picking up where left off on Friday. Judge Cooper asking about the testimony Eric Lichtblau, a former NYT reporter. Cooper wants to know more about his testimony.
Sussmann lawyer Berkowitz says the scope of the direct would be to discuss interactions between Rodney Joffe and Sussmann.
Berkowitz says there are questions about the status of NYT story regarding Alfa Bank.
Defilipis(Durham) says they intend to ask Lichtblau about his interactions with GPS Fusion. Defilipis says they want to know what interactions Lichtblau had with three researchers.
sounds like this ruling is important

@adamgoldmanNYT
Cooper asks what’s the relevance of those researchers? Defilipis says that it is “fair game” to probe Lichtblau on the circumstances and what they had vis-à-vis Sussmann.
Defilipis says the communications are “highly probative.”

Defilipis says they DOJ should have exhausted all avenues before calling Lichtblau. Defilipis says they talked to three researchers and GPS folks took the 5th and Joffe testified before grand jury. Judge asks Defilipis why he didn’t immunize Joffe? Defilipis doesnt answer.
Prosecution calls Bill Priestap, the former top FBI counterintelligence at the Bu, to the stand.
I will check this out.
Keilty asks approaches Priestap with a black notebook. (Govt exhibit #2). Priestap reads notebook and confirms it his. Keilty shows Priestap some pages from the notebook.
Keilty shows Priestap notes and he reads them: “Michael Sussman...not doing this for any client.”

Priestap says he did not know who Sussmann was on Sept. 16, 2016
Keilty asking if it is important whether FBI knows the provenance of information it receives. Priestap says yes.
Bosworth on cross.
Priestap says he never met Sussmann or spoke with him. He doesn’t remember anything about who gave him the info about Alfa Bank that ended up in his notebook.
Bosworth asking Priestap to describe nation-state threats. Priestap says how much time do we have? Cooper says not that much, triggering laughter in the courtroom.
Bosworth asks about Crossfire Hurricane. Priestap moans.
Priestap says Russian interference in the 2020 election was a nation-state threat. Priestap says he remembers pieces of it.
Priestap asked about Alfa Bank. He doesnt remember much about it. Bosworth asks why he remembers more about CH and not Alfa Bank?
Priestap says he recalls Alfa Bank not amounting to much.
