I'm not suggesting it does. Just pointing out that as a 45+ year Chicago area resident that this uptick in violence/shootings/murders/robberies/muggings etc.. happens every year about this time, and it just so happens (not) to coincide with the weather getting warmer. It's totally predictable.
After all, the gang-banging thugs don't like the cold weather, unless your Juicy Smooolyeah who goes out on the coldest night of the year at 2am for a Subway sammich and gets beat up for being a homosexual because after all, Chicago is "maga country" 'n all that....
