Where is all this “giant artillery” positioned? Ukraine. Where are all the shells landing? Ukraine? Whose infrastructure is being destroyed? Ukraine’s.
Not to worry. Yellen has promised a new Marshall plan for Ukraine. The more devastation of Ukraine, the bigger the bill for the US taxpayer. Put it on the tab. Our kids and grandkids will pay the bill. What’s another $trillion or two?

Between Putin blasting the loads of armaments, and Ukrainians selling them to the highest bidder - they’er lucky they got what they did.
If you believe - as I do - that Putin’s original objective was to annex Donbass and secure the land corridor along the coast of the Azov Sea from Russia to Crimea, then his mission may be close to being accomplished.

One of the things we are learning about this war as it goes on is that it was not planned by anyone with a military background.
It was personally done by Putin and each general was only given his small part of the operation plan 24 hours before the war was to begin.
If getting a newly rebuilt country is winning, it's just a shame that tens of thousands (maybe more) of lives have been lost.
Seems to me that no one is winning this war, even after the fighting stops.
There was a large mechanized brigade sized convoy spotted just south of Popasna.
This is the area where a very skilled Orc commander has managed to create a large salient some days back and has been expanding it ever since. He’s now attacking the flanks of UA bunkers, strongholds and trenches. These are set for frontal assaults so they don’t do well with flank attacks.
The UA force is the 24th Brigade which has been there since the start and is weakened. One of better brigades was pulled to reinforce Severodonetsk salient.
Thing is the UA has a number of Brigades that have not seen any combat - like the 46th nearby. Will the genius UA commanders throw them in? Who knows. They are drive-by commanders - stop by, give orders, leave, and are not to be found until they show up again to issue more orders. Very Soviet-style high command.
It does look bad for the UA forces which are all mixed up in the Severodonetsk salient - not a good sign in itself.
Foreign weapons will not arrive until July, and when they are ready to be deployed to the front, will be at least a month after that.

What is likely to happen in the next few weeks:
1) Russia will take a few more villages Donbass
2) Putin will declare the special operation over. A complete Russian victory!
3) Ukraine will say nuts to that. We are going to keep fighting until every inch of Ukraine is liberated
4) Putin will discover the last of his functional army was depleted taking those villages
5) Russia will start losing badly
6) Some dudes with guns will show up at Putin’s dacha, and some new dude will be in charge
There will always be a armed conflict in Ukraine.....

Nice to see the Western media getting around to reporting this, considering that Russia has been advancing in the Donbas for the past month. I suspect that they’re finally reporting on it because some really bad news for the Ukranians is about to come out.
Good question. Not much heard of air power. Ukraine not so much but Russia can’t get low due to manpads is just my guess.

No the bulk of the heavy weapons and other equipment is being sea-lifted and that takes a while. The equipment coming are items that they can get trained up on quickly. What they mostly need is fuel and artillery, plus the shells to go with it.
Airlift is only a few pieces with each load. There is supposedly mega tons and mega tons of stuff - too much for airlift. Hundreds of thousand of artillery rounds all of different calibers weigh up fast.
They aren’t getting stealth fighters - that’s just pointless.
