Rudy Giuliani on Friday met with the House select committee probing the Capitol riot after months of negotiations with the investigative body.
The ex-personal attorney for former President Donald Trump spoke with lawmakers for more than nine hours in a virtual interview, according to CNN.

He’s arrogant enough to think he can beat whatever they throw at him.
He should have declined to testify.
Just being there gives them succor.
He said he would not testify without curating his own recording of that testimony.
Are there any lawyers out there who can explain what he did, or could do, to protect himself from a fake perjury charge that would be tried before a DC jury that hates Republicans, i.e., the fate of Roger Stone?
What about taking the 5th?
If pressed, should he just plead The Fifth, or should he do perjury under oath?
Hopefully he read them the riot act and the Constitution.
That would be a lesson they should have learned along time ago.
