Now they’re dealing with a fedgov agency to try and re-open. Every back and forth communication likely takes weeks due to the snail’s pace of gubmint red tape. Bureaucrats don’t know how to prioritize and get things done quickly.
None of the formula tested had the bug that made babies sick. FDA did find the bug in a non-production line part of the plant but it was a different strain of said bug. So the FDA shut them down. One thing they’re having to do is replace some floor in that non-production line part of the plant with a non-porous material.
